Unpopular opinion about Elsewords crosover.

I’m here almost from beginning in the Arrow fandom. I’m a hardcore Olicity shipper, i love Oliver Queen more than i love myself but i also enjoy comic books and whole DC universe. I did not read any spoilers for this year crossover, a only saw sneak peeks for the first part of the crossover. I was totally open for this and excited and you know what? I enjoyed it. I loved it.

Don’t get me wrong i was angry at Iris words about Oliver, i was angry every time someone disrespected him and believe me i understand that. But what i also saw in this crossover was all the Smallville references, all the Gotham and Batman suff, all the easter eggs, all the funny moments but most importantly i enjoyed Oliver smile. His smile is everything to me. He was happy. I smiled and i cried at Oliver speech to Felicity. I cried at Oliver speech to The Monitor, screaming at the screen “Stop it Oliver, you are not only darkness.You are the hero. I love you. Please stop it. What have you done?”.

I felt all kind of emotions during this crossover. From excitement, happiness to anger and tears. Maybe i’m wrong, maybe i’m stupid but doesn’t that make a good tv show? Feeling all kind of emotions?

So after watching every part of this crossover my fangirl heart almost exploded. I went here to see and share the excitement with all of you, because this is the place where i can do this. Sadly every time i went here or to Twitter all i see is negativity, all i see is bad things. I’m scared to even talk right now. I’m really sad. I’m doubting in my judgement because for me this crossover only proved that Oliver Queen is the hero that we all don’t deserve. It made me love him even more ( if that is even possible). I just cant’t scratch the whole crosover and say it was awful.

Seeing all the negativity and knowing how much hard work actors put into this crossover makes me sad, really sad. Can we all for once can sit and enjoy the show? Have fun?
