Not a fair exchange. At least if it had happened in battle, I'd get compensated for it. As it stood, I was basically at the mercy of his replacement, and he was far too green and too arrogant for his own good. I saw an out and I took it before he managed to maim me any further. The crew helped." He smiled to think of it, even now. He'd never expected them to treat him like, well, like one of them. "And what about you, eh? On shore leave? Haven't told me much about yourself yet."
