For some reason, History becomes a lot more interesting when it’s about child abuse

My shifts keep getting canceled which is fucking up my math but also that’s no longer the problem. My bus tickets are supposed to be cancelled with my shift, and they keep only cancelling the first bus, but not the return. That’s £2.50 I could have used to buy bread to feed my wife and kids and no one will respond to me about it-

I love it when I tell my mom that therapy would help my sister And she responds, “because therapy’s been helping you sooo much 🙄” but I don’t even go to therapy; I went to counseling to get a diagnosis, meds, and try to get therapy which is a process I’m still in the middle of. I love that she implied I’m not well adjusted at all, and that therapy isn’t helpful. I love that she told me without saying it, that my mental illness is obvious and I need to be better, but the steps I’m taking to be better are invalid. I love that she’s so vocal about how she thinks my mental illness is in my head, and my medication is unnecessary, and therefore must think me “going to therapy” as she thinks I am, must be me dicking around for attention or something. I love that she’s a nurse, but still believes these things.
