Bruce laughed awkwardly. "Uhm, that's a bit beyond me. It's probably more a two-of-you-thing." Bruce looked over Charles' shoulder rather than meet his eyes. "Whatever you want to do."

Bruce reached up with his free hand and rubbed at his face. "Thank you. You don't know how much that means to me." Bruce smiled tearfully. "That's a beautiful name. But you don't... It doesn't have to be my last name. If you..." Bruce looked over at her. "I don't know."
Four months. That was how long it had been since she'd last seen Bruce and it was driving her crazy. Two months prior she had gone to see Hank, thinking she had caught the stomach flu that had been going around. It turned out that that wasn't the case. She was pregnant. She honestly hadn't known what to do, Bruce had already left for a calmer place and she didn't have a reliable way to reach him. Finally, two months later, she was able to get a text through. [text] I need to talk to you asap.
Bruce frowned down at his phone. The woman talking frantically next to him quieted, and he stood. He assured the woman, in Bengali, that all was okay, and he would be right back. He left the woman and his patient and ducked outside, tapping out a reply.
[text] Okay, what’s up? Unless you’d prefer I called?
Bruce smiled sheepishly. "You know me so well." Bruce accepted the stack of papers from Hank and sat down heavily in the chair behind him, already beginning to search through the charts and graphs and pages upon pages of information, searching for the telltale signs of radiation that are so familiar in his own blood work.

Bruce leaned back from Andie, straightening up and straightening his shirt. He pushed his glasses up to rub at his eyes briefly before he took a deep breath and ran a hand through Andie's hair. Everything was happening... so quickly; he had only found out about the baby roughly an hour ago, and now his life was changed forever.
"Thank you," he said, to both Andie and Hank, and to no one in particular.

"There was never supposed to be..." Bruce trailed off, shaking his head. "I thought I was sterile. I wasn't supposed to have children. And after my father, I... I never thought I should..."
