Remember when I actually had plans for this blog? Nope! I post a lot of ATLA and Magisterium, but I’m always down for a talk about Percy Jackson, Danny Phantom, Arcane, Merlin, Psych, Star Wars, and Gravity FallsMy AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/users/Irefy

Okay but this just gave me a thought. Did. Did the mages legit just think Call was fucking dead. Because they don’t know when the switch happened. All the evidence they have points to it happening during Copper year, not the cold massacre. Did they think Constantine murdered the Call they knew?
Did Rufus think Constantine murdered the Call he knew?
Did he grieve?
i think i'm hilarious

Yea it’s not always super noticeable in writing but there are definitely some differences. Like sometimes I’ll be reading a fic set in America and all of a sudden someone says bloody hell. Or rubbish, yk stuff like that. Honestly it doesn’t bother me at all, when I run across it I think it’s funny. People getting angry over little language differences is just stupid and makes no sense.
Arguably it makes absolutely no sense for magisterium characters to be speaking British English in my fanfics because they've never been mentioned to have left America before. I don't care. I'm not going to write in American English for them. That is the one thing I'm not going to do for them.
The thing abt highschool in America is it can change depending on where you’re at. Like ik some schools lump in the last year of middle school with high school and have those be in the same building. Where I live, first year in the highschool is freshman year which is ages 14-15. Sophomores are 15-16, juniors are 16-17, and seniors are 17-18. I’m pretty sure it’s 11-12 with Call being old for his grade because they graduate at like 17 I think. It probably works like charter schools do over here, starting at 6th grade (first year of middle school, age range being 11-12) and then having all the rest of the grades in one building. The age range of middle school is 11–14. Hope this helps
