Mercury finding joy in the 1st house is quite beautiful to me. To me it shows how we as humans communicate in all types of ways. Weather that’s Verbal, non verbal, with our bodies, sign language. We are in constant communication.

Writing is so first house coded to me also, I know technically it’s signified in other places buuuut…. To me it’s the connection between the head and heart, producing something only you could uniquely. What’s more first house than that?

Exactly, I feel like Venus has become so flattened with her significations, mostly coming for how society views sex and sexuality now but it’s just unfortunate. Give my girl her shit back!

Mars doesn't read as a sex planet to me as a traditional astrologer because it joys in the 6th House of illness, injuries and enemies. It just doesn't, it just gives STis and being victimized by someone, hate me all you want for that. That's just what it's giving and perhaps any associations with sex Mars has is because of that, because of its nature.

And I understand people dislike traditional for that reason, but it doesn't hold back. I literally said Venus-Mars is connected with experiencing infidelity, but what do you think happens when people cheat? You get your heart (Venus) broken (Mars) and sometimes, you get an STI if you're unlucky. The most perfect example being criminals because Mars rules criminals and prisons are full of men bringing home STIs to their wives and girlfriends, like Mars being hot and dry, ruling inflammation and fevers, fevers are associated with illness, like I can't get behind it... No pun.

Mars is not the type of sex we think it is in all honestly. Like maybe if you're into some wild shit.

However, Venus is symbolic of sex and gives that signification to the 5th House where she joys. Planet of love, the term "making love." Obviously sex leads to children and especially leads to children if you're doing it well.

Don't even bring up the 8th to me, ask anybody who has gone through the 8th House year and it's not about sex. I won't debate with astrologers over much, but I will always have time for the sex debate!
