Fate (Part 1)
This is the winning imagine from the vote I held. This is my first imagine I’ve written with an OC, so I hope it’s okay. This is my first attempt at smut, even if it doesn’t quite go all the way, so it probably sucks, but please don’t hold me accountable for it.The other two imagines should be out soon after this, but for now, I hope you enjoy!

The dust was settling in the aftermath of the battle against Ivar’s army. Yngvild, along with Ubbe, Bjorn, and Torvi scanned the abandoned battlefield for survivors.
A silver glint of light caught Yngvild’s eye as she passed a mass of bodies. She knelt down before a man in strange clothing, reaching beneath him and pulling the his sword out.
The blade was magnificent, silver blade and accents with a thick leather handle. On the blade, there were letters engraved to form strange words that she couldn’t make out, English most likely.
Yngvild turned her attention to the man who had previously wielded the sword and used whatever strength she could muster to turn the man over. She ran a hand over his cheek as she allowed her eyes to drink in his features.
His hair was short and dark, sideburns running into a thin beard. His eyes were closed, framed by two thick brows, his long eyelashes sitting on his cheeks. His nose was rather large, and same with his pink lips. He was very attractive, beautiful even.
“Who is this?” She asked Ubbe as he wandered passed.
Ubbe moved to look at the man over her shoulder.
“That is the Christian priest, Heahmund.” He told you, distaste gracing his tone.
The priest coughed, blood spurting from his lips. His eyes opened wide as he stared at Yngvild.
“He’s alive.” Yngvild held his head, putting her hand on Ubbe’s stomach to stop him as he drew his sword. “Save him, if it’s possible.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know why.” Yngvild thought for a moment. “Maybe the gods know why.”
She stood up and began to march away, calling to a healer nearby. “Save him!”

It wasn’t until the next day when Yngvild saw Heahmund again. He sat on a cot as she entered his tent.
They held eye contact for a few moments before he spoke. “You saved me. Thank you.”
Yngvild cracked a smile. “But if I had not saved you, you would now be in heaven.” She paused. “I believe you are a Christian priest, isn’t that where you would prefer to be?”
“I am a priest,” he began, “but I am also a man. I love God, but I also love life.”
“And what is it about life that you love so much?”
“Its joy, its pain.”
She was silent for a moment. “And do you love human beings?”
“Our Lord loved all human beings. His love was agape, not eros. A great, embracing love.”
“And do you have that same embracing love? Do you love all men and women just the same?”
He chuckled. “I am not our Lord. Agape is too hard for me.”
Yngvild opened her mouth to speak again, but closed her lips when he continued.
“I love women. Not just spiritually.”
“We have no problems loving the spirit and the flesh.” She told him. “Our gods encourage it.”
Heahmund’s face contorted into an expression of confusion. “Then you have no guilt? No remorse?”
Yngvild shook her head. “No.”
“I envy you.” He confessed. “I have spent many years of my life sinfully.”
Yngvild stood and turned to leave the tent.
“Why didn’t you kill me?”
“I don’t know. Perhaps we will find out.“

It was later that day when Yngvild’s attention was drawn from her mother, who sat next to her on a stump.
A crowd hollered and roared as Heahmund approached the two shieldmaidens, placing all of his weight on a thin tree branch. A man kicked the branch out from its place in the dirt.
“Down in the mud, Christian!” The man laughed.
“Get up, Christian!” Another ordered.
Heahmund gripped the branch tightly and crawled along the muddy path to where the Queen and her daughter were perched.
“What are you doing?” Lagertha ordered.
“I wanted to speak to your daughter.”
Her cold glare remained on him for a moment before she stood up, placing a gentle hand on her daughter’s cheek, and marching off, Torvi hot on her heels.
“What did you want to talk to me about?” Yngvild asked as she turned, sauntering off to her tent, Heahmund struggling along behind her.
“Everything.” He dropped the stick when he entered the dark tent. “The gods, life and death, my soul…” he listed off.
“Why with me?”
“I think you may know some of the answers.”
“What gave you that idea?”
He scoffed. “Do you believe in fate?”
“Of course I do.”
“Then fate has brought us together.”
She laughed. “Don’t flatter yourself.”
“No.” Heahmund chuckled. “I think we are equals. I think you know that too. I’m interested in you, fascinated. I want to know more. I think we have more in common than you know. And there is some urgency to this conversation.”
“What is so urgent, priest?” She questioned.
“I know we’re going to fight again, and soon.”
Yngvild leaned against the wooden post that held up the center of the tent, crossing her arms over her chest. “You don’t have to fight for us.”
Heahmund responded with a bitter laugh. “Of course I do. That’s why you saved me. You hoped I would take up my sword and fight for your mother against Ivar.”
“Will you?”
“I will fight for Lagertha.” He moved closer, now almost pressed against you. “But I would die for you.”
Yngvild scoffed. “You don’t even know me.”
“Oh,” he reached up, pushing a lock of blonde hair that had come loose from your braid. “I know you. I’ve known you my entire life.”
She stared into his blue eyes, processing everything that he’d told her. A wicked grin grew across her cheeks as she reached up to the ties on the front of her dress. “Do you really want to sin again?”
She pulled the string, allowing her gown to drop to her feet. The cool air made goose pimples rise on her smooth skin.
Heahmund was silent, absorbing her naked body.
When he made no move to touch nor deny her, she gripped his hands, placing one onto her left breast, allowing him to feel her rock hard nippled between his fingers, and the other between her legs, where he was able to feel her heat and wetness.
“I would do anything for you. I would sin for you. I would worship you.”
She pushed his hand closer to her, feeling a finger slip inside her. A whimper fell from her lips as she moved to press them against his. Quickly, one finger turned into two, and he was pumping them in with no assistance from her.
She pulled back from his mouth and removed his fingers within her, ripping his clothes from his body and pushing him onto her bed before straddling his hips.
“Then worship me.”

Yngvild traced a slim finger through the hair on Heahmund’s chest, leaning up on her elbow to be able to see his face. She leaned in and began to place kisses from his chest, up his throat, and to his lips, where she slipped her tongue into his mouth.
He pulled away, brushing her hair from her face. “You are the first woman that I have truly been with.”
She smirked at his confession. “You are the first Christian I have ever been with.”
“You’ve been with other men?” He asked.
“Yes.” She answered shortly. “But none like you.”
Yngvild slid on top on him once more, feeling his hardening manhood against her core.
“How many?” He questioned.
She thought for a moment. “Three.” She began rocking her hips.
Heahmund sat up so he was face to face with her. “And… how were they?”
Whimpers began to slip from her lips as she continued to grind on him.
“All the same.” She panted. “Rough, needy. Only one made me finish.”
“Who?” He demanded.
“Hvitserk.” She managed out as she lowered herself onto him, but whined as he stopped her at the tip.
“Ivar’s brother.” He stated, an expression of distaste crossing his features.
“Yes.” She dropped herself onto him fully. “He made me finish, but only once each time. You’ve already beaten him.”

I like Sakura… really, but every time I’m here on Tumblr looking for some good Uchiha clan content (analysis/headcannons) the only thing that pops up is sasusaku content regarding their nuclear family. I want more Uchiha Clan content after all I am constantly living in a world where the Uchiha were never massacred and Shisui, Itachi, Fugaku, Mikoto, and everyone else is still alive & happy… so I decided to work my brain to develop some real Uchiha content (don'tComeForMe sasusaku shippers i’mNotHating). Plus it helps to write fan fiction with Uchiha characters when you have your own personal guid on their clan and upbringing.
Uchiha Headcannons, Traits and Genetics
- It’s no secret that the Uchiha possess very desirable traits as they have always been renown for their beauty.
- The Uchiha have a fairly decent range regarding their coloring. Hair colors typically range from ashy-brown to jet-black, a few examples within this range would be Sasuke’s raven hair and Fugaku’s dark brown hair color. None ever posses a natural light/vibrant color like blond or red. All Uchiha share the gene for almond shaped eyes, but there a few differences among their eyes regarding size and color, eye colors are as follows : black, onyx, and dark brown. Uchiha skin tones range from a cream color to a light olive.
- In general the clan has always maintained a homogeneous look.
- Some of the defining traits of Uchiha is their lean build, heart shaped faces, strong chin&jaw, dark hues, strait nose. Another trademark feature of the Uchiha is their stress lines that form under their eyes, while not every member has them they are common among more maturing men.
- Their stress lines and run deep and often give the impression of sunken in cheeks, some members of the Uchiha clan say this signifies great sorrows others claim it projects wisdom.
- Uchiha babies are born healthy, but a there has always been a small portion of the clan that has suffered from near sightedness and this usually shows up around ages 4-7.
- The clan are very thoughtful and cautious regarding the conception of Uchiha children as most shinobi clan are.
- In the past the Uchiha often paired their people with those from an allied clan, the Hagoromo clan (No relation to Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki look it up) to create a more diverse gene pool.
- While the clan has never had an history of birth defects it’s common for Uchiha to experience optic nerve related heath issues later in life (beholders of the sharingan in particular) as well as chronic migraines in some cases.
- Regardless of impending blindness (for those with MS) or optic pain Uchiha would never trust an outsider to touch their precious eyes, receiving medical treatment from the village for other ailments is acceptable but they would rather suffer in silence than receive treatment or ever reveal the defects of their sharingan.
The Uchiha compound & facilities
- The Uchiha compound is maintained with great care. It is designed traditionally but has a contemporary mix, all and all it’s clean and modest. Their grounds are decorated with their symbol, the Uchiwa splashed upon their walls, buildings, gates, shrines, and any other structure they could have placed it.
- Being one of the villages noble clans they have quite a decent amount of space that they occupy. Their compound is almost like a little village itself. Not all members of the Uchiha clan are shinobi the ratio of civilian to shinobi is almost about half and half actually, so there are plenty of clansmen and women to run the shops, maintain the grounds, and make their compound a functioning residential area.
- Once you step foot into their compound you will find a peaceful vibe where harmonious living takes place, something the clans elder have always heavily enforced. Fighting, running, any obnoxious behaviors, even drinking in public are forbidden within the compound walls. While people who live amongst the village might find this odd it is perfectly accepted by the Uchiha as they take great pride in their home and were brought up to follow the socially acceptable rules within their clans culture.
- One of the reason the Uchiha’s move was so upsetting was because their homes were passed down throughout generations, they were beautiful traditionally made by the first Uchiha to settle in Konoha. After the Nine Tails attack the Uchiha spared all the could from their old establishments, the wood, the fusuma (sliding doors), the tatami mats, even some of the concert bricks that lined their pathways for reconstruction.
- Home is a place to relax and find inner peace after a long day of being on guard. It’s a very friendly place where the social norm is to always greet your fellow clansmen as you come across them on the streets, even if you may not be close to them. Also it is a must to properly acknowledge your elders when passing by even when you are in a rush. The people within the Uchiha clan are always cordial to one and other, with few exceptions, mostly because there is a deep sense of oneness and unity so weather its your close relative or a distant friend as long as you bear the Uchiwa symbol you are a trusted comrade.
- The main gate of the Uchiha compound, it is always kept open during the day time due to the fact they their clan is entrusted to keep the peace and should always be available for when citizens need to report a crime directly to their offices.
- There is a strong nature element within the compound. While maintaining the clean appearance the Uchiha clan carefully landscapes their home with greenery, beautifully trained trees, traditional gardens, a few sand gardens, stones and larges rocks places around the shrubbery.
- The Uchiha compound at night. It’s usually dead at night as to preserve peace, here you see an Uchiha market street, a grocery store first building to you left and a clothing shop to the right, a few streets over from this one is the Uchiha police building, their main offices, as well as the prison.
- The compound is a very joyous place during festivals. You’ll see everyone out and about, women dress in their Kimono’s and children run from shop to shop collecting goodies from the shop’s owners. Everything seems a lot busier than usual, couples will be close together, young men from the police force take turns handling each others shifts so they will be able to join in, most rules are overlooked like enjoying alcohol out in the open, or just being a bit more excitable in general.
Uchiha Police Force
The Uchiha play a very crucial role within the village. When Konoha was first established a deal was made between the shinobi and civilian workers which promised the workers protection and stability for their contributions to building up the Hidden Leaf. The Uchiha are responsible for making sure that the promise if fulfilled

- The Uchiha are a loving clan, but self discipline is one of their pillars. Ones behaviors and actions speak for the whole clan so as you can imagine there is a lot of pressure for Uchiha to project a respectable image, especially considering the long history of distrust they’ve had with the public.
- There is a culture of oneness among the Uchiha, and it promotes clan and country above self. When a situation arises an Uchiha clansmen is always expected to take personal responsibility for his/hers actions.
- Even when they were not the ones at fault they still must step up and take responsibility for not being capable enough to foresee and prevent the problem or for for being so irresponsible that they would associate themselves with trouble in the first place.
- While the vast majority of Uchiha clansmen are registered as officers under the force it’s not a requirement, but an honor.
- as I mentioned before, not all members of the Uchiha clan are shinobi, this is partly due to the fact that if man/women does not have what it takes (in the eyes of their clan) they will not be guilted into duty because the Uchiha only produce the best of the best among Leaf forces and do not want a weak link to tarnish their reputation because it would only harm their image of authority and nobility among the village.
- Uchiha must stay neutral when it comes to political matters. They are expected to protect all of the people within Konoha therefor they must not come a crossed as bias in any political conundrum as it might cause controversy. The Uchiha want to avoid controversy at all costs because it takes away from their main objective which is to enforce the laws within Konoha efficiently.
- The Uchiha police force is separate from the Hidden Leaf’s regular forces. While they still contribute to the village the Uchiha have different methods of training and different qualifications to become an active duty member, it’s similar to how Anbu is classified.
- The Uchiha police force is like a small army, they take their job very seriously and have one of the most stressful tasks a shinobi could have. The force must put aside their own ill feeling to support a government that hasn’t supported them, in addition they have to tread the waters making sure that they maintain authority but still project a kind image to the public.
- The ranks of the Uchiha are truly determined by age, with the exception of the clan leader’s heirs. The most experienced usually hold the highest titles.
- Examples of the ranking system : Police Force Captain (Fugaku), Lieutenants (Yashiro Uchiha & Shisui Uchiha +more), Assistant Squad Captains (Sasuke +more), and then there are regular officers who’s titles may have small variations.
- One of the police forces most crucial duties is to provide their services to the feudal lord, in exchange for lowering taxes on the hidden leaf village as well as forming good ties with between the two parties.
- This means deploying their best and highest ranking men to the federal lords offices to establish a post that they will maintain and police as well as handle any missions the feudal lord may have for them.
- This is a jonin level job and the journey to the feudal lords land is a dangerous one. Once there the days are long and hard and the assignments are dirty work, it can be anything from patrolling for bandits to high level assassination missions.
- The Uchiha are expected to keep maintaining their post until their villages debt is payed off which sometimes takes years to accomplish. But officers are on rotation to share the burden.
- Uchiha will often train promising members at the feudal lords offices, training is extremely intense and observed by the most elite of Uchiha. Above lieutenant Shisui Uchiha is accompanied by clan heir Sasuke Uchiha. Completion of ones training here instantly promotes a ninja to the position of squad captain.
Uchiha clan meetings
- There are two types of clan gatherings, the first one (shown above) is only for active duty shinobi within the clan but the second type of meeting that takes place (shown below) is open to all of the clan who are willing and able to come and voice their opinions/ heard the latest news from the clan head.
- A public Uchiha meeting, where civilian Uchiha typically outnumber their shinobi clansmen due to the need for extra security around their meeting house.
- Official meeting spot of the Uchiha, while other Uchiha facilities are more secluded and not as obvious.
- information is always spread by word of mouth within the Uchiha clan. One clansmen to another and so on. As a result there is never any reason to suspect treason. Theres never any physical evidence of Uchiha happenings as a safety precaution.
- Unlike the Hyūga there isn’t much of a pecking order amongst the Uchiha, of course you have the clan head, and elders, as well as the higher ups among the force but for the most part Uchiha see each others as equals who’s all serve an important roll within their community.
- The Uchiha have freedom of speech during their clans meetings, throughout clan history their leaders have always had to maintain the ability to listen and take complaints while still projecting his authoritative demeanor. Issues are more heavily debated than people would think and clansmen have always had a sense of entitlement when it comes to voicing their opinions.
- A clan meeting can only be authorized by the clan head, either by a clan leaders own volition or by peoples request (civilian or shinobi).
Uchiha women
- Uchiha women are a fundamental part of their clans infrastructure. The number of Uchiha males has always outweighed that of the females, not by a gross amount but enough so that parents and elders will encourage young girls to take on a more supportive role on the home front as to safeguard the ratio of males to females.
- In the waring-states era all women were expected to fight, if they could not carry themselves in battle then they were not meant to carry the next generation of the clan. With the establishment of Konoha the expectations on females changed along with many other aspects of Uchiha culture.
- But make no mistake all Uchiha clansmen (male&female) are expected to have basic knowledge of the ninja arts as well as it’s history in conjunction with the basic skill set needed to survive and defend themselves. Regardless of occupation the Uchiha have always been a battle breed clan and no one who posses the uchiha name is left unexposed to the shinobi lifestyle.
- While the majority of Uchiha females keep their civilian status becoming a kunoichi is surly not frowned upon, in-fact successful kunoichi are viewed as more desirable as well as most suitable to marry the head families heirs.
- However modern clan law states that their kunoichi are not allowed to be sent off into war, but situations may vary in reality.
- Women are a blessing in the uchiha culture. Daughters are viewed as a wonderful gift who will bring much joy and beauty to their family and one day attribute to the next generation of the clan.
- It is dishonorable to ever disrespect an Uchiha woman for Uchiha men as well as outsiders. It’s not like Uchiha women are viewed as superior but they hold a lot of value in their clans society and to behave indecent to an Uchiha female is just seen a very distasteful amongst the clan.
- Women must project a dignified image of their clan. From a young age they are made to understand their basic responsibility of portraying the clan in a positive light in a distrusting homeland.
- Therefor you’ll notice that most Uchiha women come off as polite, refined, graceful, and very modest. Mothers teach them how to project such traits through their behaviors and dress.
- While gender roles do exist amongst the clan as they still do in traditional Japanese society this doesn’t mean women from this clan are subservient. Uchiha women run the household and are actually known for being quite outspoken with their opinions and can sometimes can be a little blunt with their views/judgments especially among each other.
Marriage
- It’s a well known fact that those who hail from the Uchiha clan love deeper than most so as you can imagine the bond of husband and wife is a sacred and personal thing. Despite the contrary belief Uchiha do not force marriages on their own
- Yes they do arrange marriages as do most noble clan but it is customary to have a decent gap between the initial arrangement and the union. All arranged marriages are made thoughtfully and with great consideration in a genuine attempt to lay the foundation for a loving union that will also produce strong offspring but not every marriage within the clan is arranged of course.
- Uchiha are never allowed to divorce, it is considered a selfish act that sullies the sanctity of marriage therefore it has always been forbidden.
- One misconception that outsiders typically have is that Uchiha are only allowed to marry within the clan, there are no rules against marrying a non-Uchiha (although rare) however it is heavily frowned upon to marry out of the clan (Izumi’s mother for example). For an Uchiha, male or female, to let go of their surname is often met with shunning from the majority of their kin.
- Uchiha men usually prefer Uchiha women, as their upbringing had shaped their image of what is attractive to them.
- But there is an unspoken understanding that for most young men (young shinobi) it is quite acceptable to “date around” the village as they spent most of their adolescence keeping to a strict discipline the clan tends to turn a blind eye to some of their personal escapades.
- As stated above Uchiha are most likely to settle down within their clan for serious relationships, but a different approach is required. It’s not so much dating as it is courtship, it’s more formal and respectable viewed as more tasteful within the clan. The courtship never has to end in marriage unless thats it’s natural course.
- The Uchiha value privacy in terms of their love life, it’s really only acceptable to parade a relationship around if it has a future, even then your love life is your personal business and Uchiha clansmen tend to prefer it that way.
- The clan isn’t very concerned about what their people might do out of wedlock, as long as their actions are not obnoxious or too obvious, a blind eye will be turned to most frisky behaviors. - Marriage ceremonies are private, typically just the couple themselves as it is their union and meant to be a sacred occasion. - Children are the most precious thing in the world to Uchiha parents.
- Seven days after birth, they wrap their new babies in black or navy montsuki (kimono for the girls), and partake in a naming ceremony.
- Elder siblings are expected to attend to their younger siblings and show them how to build independence.
- The clan loves their children and it’s common for most shop keepers to give out free goods (pies, dumplings, and candies) to children who pass by their shops or are playing on the nearby streets. Elders take great pleasure in hearing of the Uchiha children’s successes and likewise enjoy rewarding them for their efforts, usually with money in special Uchiha embellished envelopes.
- Uchiha children are polite and well behaved especially out in public. Rules and expectations are set at home which motivate kids to behave properly out in the public eye, however the Uchiha are strictly against using any kind of physical force to discipline their young. Even thought they are a battle clan they would never raise a hand to their children for any kind of disciplinary action. Uchiha parents prefer disappointed/unamused glares and thorough lectures as methods of reprimanding their kids.
- While expected to be relatively independent and act responsibly kids are kids and the clan adores their young and are amused by their silly, cheeky, childish ways as long as they are polite and grow up to be respectable.
- Fathers are usually stern with their boys, giving tough love too often, but it’s all with the best intentions of preparing them to stand on their own two feet. Fathers feel the heavy responsibility of preparing their sons to handle the pressures that come with their Uchiha name.
- Most children live a home until married, Uchiha mothers are very doting and involved in their babies lives as much as possible.
Beliefs or religion
- While Uchiha do not participate in any practices, other than following the shinobi’s code of honor as well as their clans own teachings, they do recognize the shinto gods as deities
- As you may know a lot of their ninjutsu is named after popular shinto gods and goddesses. The old reasoning is that the shinto gods recognized the prestige of the Uchiha and therefore blessed them with strong genes.
- While Uchiha aren't necessarily religious they are very traditional, so they maintain many shrines around their compound and keep the ancient belief of shinto gods alive by telling their legends as bedtime stories for little children.
- Uchiha believe that they control their own fate and are personally responsible for all the happenings in their lives. However they also believe that because they are favored the shinto gods might bless them with further good luck, so a lot of Uchiha will write down their hopes, wishes, and prayers on kozo papers and then burn them at the shrine.
- Uchiha always cremate their dead. When a fellow Uchiha dies on the battle field his clansmen are expected to finish him off so his body will never fall into the wrong hands.
Companions
Instead of dog the Uchiha prefer cats as their ninja companions, they suit the Uchiha’s style of battle and social behaviors.
- However the Uchiha clan is known for keeping Shiba Inu as house dogs. The uchiha fancy these dogs not only for their easy care regiment but their intelligence and loyalty as well. The Uchiha describe the Shiba Inu as
- kaani-i (fiery spirited), ryosei (good natured), and soboku (alert).
- This strong willed but good tempered dog is kept in most Uchiha homes that are capable of caring for them.

Ivar:
He could have told you that all the stories you had heard were just that. Stories. But Ivar being Ivar had his fun with you. The way you tensed and shivered when he looked at you and licked his lips was a good entertainment for when he was bored. “Come over here for a moment.” Your widening eyes and scared look were delightful. He’d enjoy playing with you.
Bjorn:
He wasn’t the most sensitive person in the world and when he grabbed your arm and pulled you away to tell you that there was no need to be scared of him, you immediately panicked and slapped him across the face before running away. “I should be the scared one.” His cheek stung like hell and the flesh was hot to his touch, surely leaving a mark for everyone to see.

He threw a sword at your feet, which you reluctantly picked up with a worried look. You didn’t know what he wanted you to do with it until he drew his own and came at you. “No need to be scared when you can protect yourself.” Rollo tells you with a smile after you’re both out of breath after the training you just went through for hours.
Harald:
Harald got you to join him in his bath after you spend the day successfully avoiding him. The way he kept looking at you, eyes scanning your body made you nervous. He moves the warm, water soaked cloth across your back in a soothing gesture. It felt nice, though your mind was occupied with much worse scenarios to be able to appreciate this for what it really was. His way of getting to know and show you that not all stories bear a truth inside them.

Also tends to know that the spices smell disaster.
Stares at you while you cook.
He’s tried saffron, ginger, cardamom, cumin and others before.
But there’s a fine difference from his Viking food from your native cooking.
Eats a dose of the curry.
Immediately regrets it.
And then reaches for his ale or water and nurses his aching tongue– and stomach.
“It’s… good.” He lies as he eats the rest.
Completely annoyed.
Hvitserk
Is a sweet and innocent puppy who trusts you with the most precious thing he owns: his precious stomach.
Curiously rooting around the spices that you are cooking with.
It smells spicy but oh no, you say, it is not that spicy.
Sits down to eat with you and immediately feels as if his eyes are going to pop out.
Chugs his entire cup of ale.
Chases you around the house for his revenge!
Just wait until he catches your lying ass.
Sigurd Snake in the Eye
Comes home after a long day looking for nothing but kisses and love.
Looks to the spicy dish and then looks up to you.
“It isn’t that spicy?” He asks a hundred times.
“It is only…” You rock your hand in the air, voice thick with your accent. “Minimally spicy.”
One spoonfull tells him all he needs to know of your sack of lies.
It’s HOT!
He isn’t doing that shit again.
Eats your delicious flatbread bread the rest of dinner.
Ivar the Boneless
What sort of man would be afraid of curry!
His woman‘s curry is special– despite the smell of spice wafting into the air.
Drags himself into the chair and peeps at your dish.
“You’ll like it, I promise.” You swear, affectionately plating it for him in all good intent.
When he tries it– he can’t stomach the spice.
Has no fucking pain tolerance.
“What did you do to that?” He growls, smacking your hand as you try to take it away.
“If you don’t like it so much let me have it!”
“Who do I look like to you?”
Angrily eats the rest of his curry.
Despite the tears at the corner of his eyes, smacks you away.
Is no coward.
