My Modern Verse Will Now Be Referred To As My Vintage Verse, Since It's Technically In The Past. Modern
my modern verse will now be referred to as my vintage verse, since it's technically in the past. modern feels weird. vintage fits the aesthetics.

I've decided Janey is going to defrost differently depending on who she's talking to for some excitement. So for Lucy, the only person besides her parents she'd know is her mom's assistant, Hank. She was frozen in 31 and Hank unfroze her when his daughter was a teen. She's a young adult and grew up in 33 following Lucy around. She's very fond of the older woman, and she's a fan of her skills and specialties. She could even be convinced to leave 33 if Lucy asked her to. Cooper? Janey roulette unless we plot otherwise. she could still be as young as seven or in her late 20's. I have a wheel of doom to spin. Barb? Only met one. It will depend on all of them and how quickly she responds to all of them at all times, because that's her mama. I will spin the doom wheel as a formality. Everyone else, she was moved to Vegas while the bombs were dropping without her parents. She's out of the vaults and an adult in her 20's when she comes across anyone. She's a lone traveller, like her dad was in the movies. She tends to stay around Goodsprings or Searchlight.
BARBIE (2023) PROMPTS * ย assorted dialogue from the film, adjust as necessary
i'm definitely not thinking about death anymore!
i've never seen this kind of malfunction.
am i being too technical?
if you ask me, you're responsible for this, too.
to be honest, when i found out the patriarchy wasn't just about horses, i lost interest.
i just gave you a choice so you could feel like you're in control!
how will i get back?
this happened once before.
i just don't want to leave!
you'll be such a hero to them!
i feel appreciated but not ogled.
i hate it when people think. i'm so bored.
the faster i figure this out, the faster we get home.
i'm not pretty anymore!
humans have only one ending. ideas live forever.
you're so beautiful.
how come you're so amazing!
i worked very hard, so... i deserve it!
you're the voice of a generation.
this makes me emotional, and i'm expressing it.
i got us both ice creams!
i think you have that the wrong way around.
how much of that did you see?
let's get you up on your feet.
you should heal up in no time.
this night is just perfect!
please call my mother.
i thought i might stay over tonight.
does the label "long-term long-distance low-commitment casual girlfriend" mean nothing to her?
i'm great at doing stuff.
it is literally impossible to be a woman.
we always have to be extraordinary, but somehow we're always doing it wrong.
never forget that the system is rigged.
find a way to acknowledge that, but also always be grateful.
it's too hard!
i'm just so tired of watching myself and every single other woman tie herself in knots so that people will like us.
i was arrested for tax evasion.
i smell like basement.
what are you doing here?
did you bring your rollerblades?
i literally go nowhere without them!
do you guys ever think about dying?
i'll play the guitar at you.
yeah, i'm... confused about that.
it's like i've been in a dream where i was really invested in the zack snyder cut of "justice league."
can i talk to a doctor?
i need a clicky pen.
somebody get security.
i've never seen the godfather.
every night is a boy's night.
i just don't know who i am without you.
i only exist within the warmth of your gaze.
i'm just a little blond guy who can't do flips.
you guys aren't doing patriarchy very well.
men hate women and women hate women. it's the one thing we can all agree on.
you don't have your license.
you can be brainwashed, or you can be ugly. there's nothing in between.
she's not dying, she's just having an existential crisis.
i'm sensing some kind of ententre here... and it appears to be double.
who am i to burst their bubble?
you use your imagination!
you can ask me any question you want.
Janey's walls at home look like this in her room. Her dad hung the wallpaper himself::

Janey called Henry/Hank her uncle and was one of the few people she knew from her mom's job. She legitimately thought her mom didn't actually work. She thought Barb and Hank just made up reports and things.

โ Some fairy tales are true. โ
โ Iโve alerted the management company about this. โ
โ You did this to me on purpose. โ
โ Youโre my best friend in the whole entire universe, how could you possibly think a thing like this? โ
โ There you are, sweetie. โ
โ You know, you can get botox injections for that forehead wrinkle. โ
โ Hey, you want to pick up bacterial meningitis or polio, you be my guest. โ
โ Listen, I didnโt mean to โ uhh... โ
โ You always do this. When are you gonna grow up? โ
โ This is like a world gone mad. Like Iโve stepped through the looking-glass or something. โ
โ I need my shirt back. โ
โ This place is beyond its normal grotesque. Itโs post-nuclear. โ
โ I canโt believe you did this to me after all the strings I pulled. โ
โ I know that Iโm an undeserving creep, but can we please talk about it over lunch?โ
โ Fine, see if I care! Iโll live off of water and sunshine. โ
โ I actually am uniquely qualified for this position, having spent so many years developing my skills as a people person.
โ What is this, The Shining? โ
โ How cool is this? Look at this little tea set! Look at these cute little scones! โ
โ Hey - hey. You don't touch that unless I happen to invite you to tea. โ
โ Ugh! You just got your germy drool all over my plastic scone, you freako! โ
โ You missed a spot. โ
โ Why don't you get your little plastic baggie out and dig up some penicillin? โ
โ When you work for me, you leave when I say you can leave. โ
โ For your information, I do not work for you. I am employed by your mother. โ
โ Swinging door. โ
โ Baby, what are you doing outside all by yourself? โ
โ I know this is a big change for you, but it'll feel like home in no time at all. โ
โI can't believe those creeps would throw a destitute woman out onto the street.โ
โ Chivalry is so dead. โ
โ You can't keep all this stuff. โ
โ You sure looked great out there. โ
โ I just... you know. Yelling at you the other day and all..? I'm sorry. โ
โ What are you doing here? โ
โ You're on probation. โ
โ Act your age, not your shoe size. โ
โ Don't you ever do that to me again. โ
โ You're hurting me. โ
โ You hurt me. Take it back. โ
โ I really hate surprises. โ
โ My glands are swollen. I'm having an allergic reaction. My immune system is crashing. โ
โ You know you had fun. โ
โ It must be hard getting rid of all this neat stuff, huh? โ
โ Can I have just five more minutes, please? โ
โ God, you're pathetic. โ
โ That's kinda harsh. โ
โ It's a harsh world. โ
โ Could you please help me? This is starting to hurt. โ
โ There is never, ever an excuse for hitting another person. โ
โ We need to talk. โ
โ Those are the four most hateful words in the English language. โ
โ Why are you buttering my plastic scone? โ
โ I invited you to afternoon tea. The least you could do is be polite. โ
โ Are you still moping over that disgusting guy? โ
โ Other people always let you down. Why don't you forget them and do something for yourself? โ
โ Maybe some of us aren't good at anything. โ
โ Every grownup is good at something. โ
โ What's so great about being a grownup, anyway? โ
โ You're scared. โ
โ If you refuse to have a nice time with me, I'm going to have fun by myself. โ
โ What is with this music, anyway? โ
โ You know, I thought that maybe - just maybe, you'd remember we had plans tonight. โ
โ If I never have a drop of tea again, it would be too soon. โ
โ Please, go without me. โ
โ Is that what you think of our friendship? โ
โ Thank you for taking me in like this. โ
โ Well, look at this. Perfect 98.6. Only twenty degrees above the temperature of the beautiful day awaiting us outside. โ
โ I'm not going anywhere. Especially with you. โ
โ We're going to sit in giant tea cups and spin round and round in circles until we puke. โ
โ I can't believe I let you talk me into this. โ
โ Haven't you ever been to an amusement park? Ever? โ
โ Why is it so dead around here? โ
โ Let's go home. โ
โ You're lucky that you were mad. See, when you're mad, you don't miss people. And if you stay mad, it's like you never knew them at all. โ
โ I wasn't mad, [Name]. I was confused. โ
โ You were right, [Name]. I am scared. But you're scared, too. You're as scared as I am. โ
โ That water's contaminated, you know. โ
โ If you don't get out of there, I'll call the police. โ
โ A hundred and one degrees. Sick as a dog. โ
โ You better hope you don't get radiation poisoning from that toxic pond scum. โ
โ Take two echinacea and a Benadryl for your sinuses. Call me if you need anything else.โ
โ You're the doctor. โ
โ I can't think of what to say. โ
โ When I'm not ready, you hunt me down. When I try and make it work, you're not interested. โ
โ All you do is take, and I've got nothing for you right now, so... maybe it's a good time to start thinking about someone other than yourself.. โ
โ This is everything that he's left behind in the whole world. โ
โ Grownups never stay friends with kids. โ
