“More like lady luck. You will leave and not come back. There will be no death this time.” She stood back. He scoffed.

“Pathetic.”

“Or maybe, I value life over your love of death.” She flung his blade to him which he caught smoothly. He glared at her.

“What makes you think I won’t run you through?”

“Luck.” She said. “Or do you not get it yet?” He blinked and turned to run.

“This won’t be the last time.” He promised. Marinette was inclined to agree.

“How did you meet?” he asked, looking between the three teens.

They all shared a look, speaking in perfect unison. “Fencing club.”

Bruce let out a deep sigh. “Why am I not surprised?” Marinette smirked.

“Maybe because we were fencing, sir.”

Damian stifled a laugh, turning so his brothers couldn’t see the amusement in his eyes. Bruce shot the girl a small glare, which she dutifully ignored. He only sighed once again, standing up to leave the room.

“That will be unnecessary, Master Tim.” Alfred digs into his jacket and pulls out a handful of decorated envelopes. Uh, how was he able to hide those?

He hands the envelopes to each of them. Everyone stands confused as to why Alfred, the most class of them all, would hand them upside-down envelopes.

“Pretty!” Mar’i squeals, trying to reach for the envelope. “Look, Daddy, it has Unca Dami’s name on it.” She points to the card.

It was then that those with envelopes flip it over and sees the words “Damian & Marinette Wayne” decorated in elegant letters.

The glow had faded away and Marinette saw that the previous red thread (the lovers thread) had turned gold. She had found her soulmate!

Marinette stepped down from the stage and walked over to the mysterious boy.

She held out her right hand and said, “Hello, Future Husband. I’m Marinette Dupain-Cheng.”

Damian used his right hand to grab her left and brought the gold thread to his lips and kisses it. “Hello, Future Wife. I’m Damian Wayne.

Searching For a Batman Fic (2). Help?

So I didn't get to finish this fic. I had accidentally swiped back and couldn't find the fic again. At the start Jason and Tim were talking, Tim asked Jason if he ever wondered what would it be to not be a person (or smth like that, I don't remember what they exactly said) and Jason said that yeah he also thought about being an animal (or smth) in the forest and relaxing. And Tim said that what he thought of was nice but he was talking about something less cryptid and was like nvm. Jason was staring at Tim though and he thought smth like "I think I know what he likes"

Basically that's where I left off. I'd appreciate it if you guys help me.
