giving scores out of 10 to works you read in the reblogs is literally so rude i can't even wrap my head around it. especially if the score is all you're gonna say? like not even add anything to it?

you're free to do whatever the fuck you want in your notes app i really dgaf but my work (though i imagine a lot of other writers feel like this) is not here for you to rate. it's here because i have fun writing it and i'm kind enough to share it for free with everyone. so either you read it and enjoy it or you can just ignore it. this is a hobby for me not a school project i don't want to be graded i don't care if you think the score is good or whatever.

we spend so much time and pour so much effort into our works, asking for people to interact with them at the very least, and what we get instead is ratings?? not even pointing out anything you liked about it? mf this is not goodreads we are not getting paid for this.
