chapter 40
I've been trying to think how best to express my feelings in that chapter 40. That reunion was not flashy nor was it dramatic. No big gestures.. no dialogue either. Just eyes looking at each other speaking tons of emotions. And I'm also at a loss for words. But what I felt in those pages was also a lot of feelings. Yet my thoughts are still incoherent. Since words fail me.. So I just wanted to pull out how it played in my head in hopes that my cluttered mess of thoughts could be summarized. I really love the song Moratorium and how it makes me feel "saezuru".
My thoughts in a slideshow of panels expressing how the chapter played out inside my mind.. Yashiro must have gathered and mustered a lot of courage in that long walk toward the bridge... a bridge that he must now cross after years.. to face the past, to face Doumeki, to break his lie and let him know that he remembers, to confirm his motive of wanting to let him go 4 years ago... the courage to face again everything he wanted to run away from. Yashiro's desert and cage is soooo beyond imagination that it hurts and pains me to just think about.
