Can we talk about the fact that Mandalorians absolutely LOVE spicy food, and that Obi-Wan most likely built up a very high tolerance during their year on the run because Satine would have already been homesick and denying her spicy food would have been cruel (and what person wouldn’t try to prove to their crush they could handle it if there was a dare involved, which with these two their certainly was).

Can we talk about the fact that Qui-Gon probably wasn’t there the entire year on the run and they separated to divide and conquer often working from different angles, elsewise Obi-Wan wouldn’t have ever allowed himself to even develop feelings for her.

Can we talk about the fact that Obi-Wan would have been distracted after returning to the Temple and wanting something that would have reminded him of Satine.

Where am I going with this? You may ask.

Obi-Wan probably made a traditionally spicy Mandalorian dish made even spicier to match how Satine liked it without considering the ramifications once and sent an unsuspecting Qui-Gon to the Healing Halls who was convinced he’d burned a hole in his stomach.

This was a collab done with @starwarsite! It's was a short comic done to illustrate a scene from E.K. Johnston’s novel “Queen’s Peril” where Qui Gon gives Obi Wan a small jab about his…. ‘fling’ with Satine. Lol, poor Obi Wan, I’m sure Qui Gon would never let him live that down. Anyhow, she drew Qui Gon and I drew Obi-Wan!
