Daniel & [HTR] Black Jack are competing in a jumping competition, Lilith and her best friend Esther who is also the owner of [HTR] Black Jack come to help at the competition. Esther had asked Daniel if he would like to go on a show jumping competition with [HTR] Black Jack since she is not experienced enough with high jumps and also usually only rides dressage and sometimes as an alternation a few jumps. [HTR] Black Jack is so handsome isn't he?

I am writing to bring to your attention an ongoing issue concerning the misuse of my custom content by another creator who is falsely claiming it as their own.
Ironically, I've made this mistake myself in the past. I publicly apologised and took every step possible to correct it, ensuring that I created original work that I could be proud of. Now, the person who ridiculed me for my mistake is repeating it themselves.

**About the Perpetrator:**
The individual in question has consistently violated the terms of use set by me and other creators by uploading our work to their server without giving proper credit or providing links to the original creator's pages. This not only disrespects the hard work and creativity of the original creators but also misleads the community.
Recently, this individual has escalated their actions by stealing creators' meshes and claiming that they have the right to use them because "all custom content is owned by EA." This claim is false.
**EA's Policy on Custom Content:**
EA does not claim ownership of custom content created by players. According to EA’s User Agreement, while creators retain ownership of their content, they grant EA a non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free license to use, distribute, and modify it. This means creators own their work, but EA can use it as per their terms.
The perpetrator's claim that EA owns all custom content is incorrect and misleading.
**Why This Matters:**
Custom content creators dedicate significant time and effort to enhance the gaming experience for all players. Plagiarism not only disrespects the original creator but also disrupts the integrity of our creative community.
**How You Can Help:**
1. **Report Infringing Content:** If you come across the content in question or other similar instances, please report it to the respective platform.
2. **Spread Awareness:** Share this notice to inform others and prevent further misuse of content.
3. **Support Original Creators:** Encourage proper attribution and support creators who contribute genuinely to the community.

Some thoughts and feelings…
I just wanted to come on and pop my stance on “reclaiming” horses/animals/sims. If this is something in your TOU, that’s okay! But myself personally, I understand that people have lives, commitments, responsibilities outside of The Sims 4. Things come up, unpredictable things happen and people can’t always provide updates. It’s super upsetting when we grow close to the horses/sims/pets we purchase and do use them in our game, but we haven’t had chance to provide a recent update.
I wanted to express my thoughts and feelings as I’ve recently had a lot of people reclaiming horses from me, and it’s not a nice feeling at all. I understand that people can consider their animals as artwork, but like I say, the sims 4 is a game, for us all to enjoy, and just because we might not be able to dedicate time and post a photo/update of the horse/animal/sim it doesn’t mean they’re sat in our gallery and we don’t use or love them.
I also feel like it can create a sense of hostility between people, and friendships, and in my opinion it really isn’t worth it. People will inevitably get their backs up over this, for the most part people LOVE the creations they “purchase” (fake discord currency) or else they wouldn’t purchase them, sometimes life just gets in the way.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and to have whatever they like in their TOU, but I do wish there was more understanding and lenience with creators.
I have seen so much hostility and upset within the community recently and it’s genuinely just so sad. What was meant to be an escape for people, has ended up adding unnecessary stress to their lives, and over what? A game?
I have made more horses, dorses, sims, dogs, cats, than I can count, and I have never reclaimed a single one. Of course it’s nice to see updates, but I think we need to start letting people live, and enjoy the game again, not make it a chore to play in fear of having horses, animals, sims, etc being reclaimed ❤️
