Chubby girl rant.

Okay so this is going to be a mini rant about how chubby readers in stories are written.

Don’t get me wrong, as a chubby girl,I love reading stories where the reader is chubby, but some of the ways writers write about us really bothers me.

I’m aware that we are all insecure, regardless of our different shapes,but my problem is that writers make it seem as though insecurity is the mark of every single chubby girl. In the majority of stories I’ve read, the insecurity of the chubby girl is reinforced and mentioned almost always. I know some of my fellow chubby girls may be insecure and relate to that and that’s okay but not all of us are and I absolutely hate the fact that we are mostly portrayed as such.

We are more than insecurities and body issues.
