Guys, since we all have essentially agreed that Paul is Richie's uncle, what if a fanfic where after Paul gets infected, leaving Emma as the sole survivor out of the people in her group, she bumps into Richie, thinking it's over and finally coming out of hiding, scared and alone and afraid. Seeing this kid, Paul's nephew, possibly the last thing she has left of him, this scared kid who's just lost his uncle, and probably so much more to these aliens, she swears that she'll do everything it takes to protect him, no matter the cost.

We get this to over 150 notes and I write a prologue which turns it into a real fanfic and I link it in a reblog

Today I bring you some Paul Matthews headcanons:

- Even though he always orders black coffee, that man secretly has a sweet tooth. He's always buying himself a chocolate bar from the CCRP's machine when no one's looking.

- Definitely wears a robe inside the house. I mean, look at him. He also has a very complex skincare routine.

- When it comes to work, he accidentally leaves things for the last hour, so he's always stressed. He says he works better under pressure. He doesn't.

- Has the entire office memorized so he can make an "avoid Ted Spankoffski" route. It never works because Bill always tells Ted where he is. Bill doesn't have the courage to tell Ted that Paul's purposefully hiding.

- Speaking of, he also has a route for outside of the building with the same purpose.

- Sometimes when it's rainy he lies that he's sick so he can have the perfect day off: sitting on the couch covered in blankets as he catches up on his favourite show and eats cheesecake. It's a guilty pleasure.
