I preordered ChoI in November. My book isn’t being delivered until the ninth. I can’t do this!!! 7 extra days for me.

We know from a snippet that sadly Jamie and Matthew get in a fight in ChoI. We know this fight is about Matthew’s drinking but it is probably more than that. Maybe about Math and Cordelia?? We know that not all parabatai are that lovey dovey. They won’t handle this fight like Jem and Will did over Tessa.

Their parabatai relationship might break because of this fight. If you don’t believe this (which I totally understand. I love these two so much!) you must remember that not all parabatai are like our beloved Jem and Will. Jem and Will didn’t really have any other friends (I’m not counting Jessie. She’s more of an acquaintance) while Matthew and Jamie have Tom, Kit, and all of their other relatives and friends. James and Matthew aren’t completely dependent on each other. They can always break up and go their separate ways.

I really hope this doesn’t happen. It’s just a theory!
