i often see people disregard Twice/Jin’s death as something that was exaggerated for plot points. But what people completely forget is that Twice didn’t “just” get killed by Hawks. He was betrayed and used and killed. To him, he had been used as a pawn because of his shortcomings, and while this signifies something much deeper and intricate for Twice, for the rest of the LOV it really grounds the fact that heroes too, are morally corrupt. Because killing Twice, was an act of defence, but to string Twice along as a friend and then use him to rat out the league, was something worse than betrayal.

maybe this isn’t the greatest take but i truly don’t care how much time it takes for people to realise and undo their wrongs. I understand we are all inherently flawed as humans but to recognise that flaw after it’s been embedded in your very existence takes courage and time, in no way does that undo your mistakes but it gives you room for growth. Today i stood on the scale in front of my mom and she saw my weight and asked me if i gained some. Then, as if realising, she reached out and held my hand, and said, “you’ve been looking prettier, you don’t have to worry about your weight.” My indian mother who has been nagged about her weight all her life, telling me, it is not the defining point of our existence.
