The Sterek Prompt Meme is Live!

So, way back in a previous life (aka. when fandom was mostly on LJ, and I was super into Merlin), whenever I was in the mood to write something but wasn't quite sure what, I would head on over to the prompt/kinkmeme to find some inspiration. It was a wild and beautiful thing, and it was the catalyst for so many incredible works.

When I got into Teen Wolf and started writing again the first thing I did was go and search for a Sterek prompt meme. I didn't find one that was still active, so I figured I might as well just make one myself.

On that note, please welcome the Sterek Prompt Meme!

No deadlines, no stress, just a place to go and drop some prompts and see if there's anything you fancy writing.

Sterek Writers Unite

I created a Discord for Sterek Writers to just chat and hangout, talk about writing and Sterek, and the like. It is an 18+ server to keep things in line with Discord TOS, but aside from that, all Sterek writers are welcome to join. My aim is to just keep it drama free and open to all Sterek writers who want to join, chat, and connect. I've been able to chat with so many great Sterek writers over the years that I wanted to create a space to just talk Sterek as we write, a place to encourage and support, and celebrate the joy that is Sterek and those write them.

I’d totally watch this show! 

P.S. (You know what’d make it even more awesome? Have all sorts of actors who’ve played supernatural creatures and such in the shows as ‘special guests’. It’d be like the perfect insane crossover!

The urban fantasy show I actually want to see is a hospital drama with a dedicated wing for supernatural illnesses.

Vampirism. Lycanthropy. Cheap spells gone wrong. A woman brought in for her prenatal has to be told her baby is a lindworm. Someone is literally being followed by the anthropomorphic personification of the Black Death.

Someone somewhere out there is having their perception of the world irreparably shattered by the knowledge that magic is real, and at the other side is a team of doctors who have to roll their eyes and pull out Grimm’s Complete Fairy Tales because some high school kid tried to go Carrie with a cheap spellbook and turn all the kids at prom into frogs, and the doctors have to wrangle a couple dozen teenagers into admitting if they have a true love who can break the spell.
