hello i had the honors of pre-reading this adorable blurb but i’m here again because this was the cutest thing ever and i am absolutely in love 🥰🥺 uwu :-))

first of all, the beginning is so soothing and relaxing ! it’s so refreshing and makes me happy bc i’m a plant and a flower lover !! and if i were a princess i would have my own garden with liddol animals and cute plants too ! the scenes are so descriptive and beautiful and well-written and i’m like ?? gawking and in awe of how powerful jahni’s words are !! i aspire to be that level of talented, where one day even my drabbles are absolutely gorgeous and so detailed !! it paints such a pretty picture in my head and i’m immersed into the story already !also lori the bunny 🥺 that was super cute and i loved the liddol addition 👉🏻👈🏻💓

i also love how well-written the characters are and how u gave us a little snippet of how their relationship evolved ! it was so so cute and i’m in love :(( where’s my prince to sweep me off my feet? jahni ur writing sets unrealistic standards for me 😔 i am going to be single as a pringle forever. but seriously this was absolutely amazing and so so exciting to read ! i’m so excited to see what future writings that you’ll be posting 💗💗💗

summary. you’ve always been in love with your best friend, but you always believed that with your lifestyle, it’s common to not get what you truly desire. however, the gods up above have granted you one wish.

The silence that you’re blessed with for this time being is comforting. There aren’t many days where you have such quiet times like these. No advisors and staff droning around you for your every need and assigning you for whatever task that must be completed for the day. Outside in the garden, you stand alone smelling the sweet hydrangeas that sit in its pot. Your favorite.

From outside, you can hear slight chatter from inside. Though, it’s muffled so you can barely eavesdrop in any news or rumors regarding yourselves, your parents, or any of the workers themselves. However, you’re grateful because they’re not bothering you at all. The sun is shining down brightly on your skin, it giving you your vitamin D for the day and causing your blue dress to shimmer in the light sky.

No matter how many times you’ve been in your mother’s garden, a gift from your father when they had gotten married, you always admire how stunning and well taken care of it is. Your mother made sure that it was kept up to par. Most of the time, she personally tended to the plants, flowers, and herbs that’s been inhabited in the garden. Other times, she had the staff best tend to it themselves if she herself couldn’t do it for the day.

You, on the other hand, lacked the green thumb needed to tend to the plants. Your mother had taught you everything, but you couldn’t even keep a simple succulent alive even if your life depended on it. So, you keep your distance and dent any offer to take care of any plant your way. You didn’t want to kill a plant because you of lack of skill. You preferred to look and watch nature in its natural habitat.

Not only did the plants inhabit the garden, small animals that your mother had gotten as presents from your father also lived in the comfortable abode. Bunnies, ducks, and other critters ran about freely and it was just a beautiful sight to see. Sitting down on the metal bench, you adjusted your dress, inhaling the pleasant scent of nature as you sit down quietly, delving deeply in the tranquility and comfort. It’s as if all of your stresses are gone, the knots and kinks in your shoulders loosening up and you can stretch your back freely without having to worry who is around.

You wish you can let your hair loose and have it flow freely. However, it’s up in one and pinned down. Each pin feels like it’s going to be etched into your skull at some point, but you’ve become accustomed to this pain. Beauty is pain, that’s what your mother always tells you as she can feel your exhaustion from this royal lifestyle. The duties of the royal family aren’t as fun as they’re told to be.

You’re only granted ten minutes of pure solitude before you’re interrupted. Lori, one of your favorite bunnies, hopped away when footsteps could be heard rounding the corner. You stand to your feet, frowning when you hear, “Lady Y/N,” ringing in your ear. Your eyes are greeted to your royal advisor, Sir Henrick, and following shortly behind him, Prince Hoseok.

🥺 omg hobi 🥺 u poor babie come here :( okay wow first of all, this chapter was amazing ! i love how you set everything up and how well the characters are written. the scenes are super descriptive and vivid and paint such clear pictures in my head that play out like a movie. but wow there’s something about the way u write that makes it so easy to connect with the characters, that makes to easy to like certain characters and dislike the other ones. everything fits together so smoothly and it was incredibly enjoyable to read ! i’m super super super excited for the next chapter and i cannot wait for y/n to learn her lesson :( even tho i feel bad for hobi.

i also really like how the paragraphs and scenes are separated by time stamps bc it makes it clearer and easier to understand ! also her insults and her hostile, harsh, bitchy attitude was written so well !!! like y/N yOu bEtter bE rEadY bC iM rEadY tO thRow hAnDs !!!! and then poor hobi at the ending 🥺 i love how u incorporated that little bit of guilt that she felt and how she falters for a minute bc she’s still human (no matter how much of a bitchy one). but omg poor hobi feeling played and used :(

一 CHAPTER ONE / DAY ONE.

4:30 AM. The blaring in your ears is loud. The sounds of bells ringing and you’re rolling in bed to reach for your phone only to stumble upon a warm body next to you. You think of it as nothing at first, but who could possibly be in bed with you at this time? Frightened, you jump out of fear. Who’s in bed with me? Heart pounding, your head starts to ache as you look beside you to see Hoseok next to you. Disheveled, he’s half awake as the alarm continues to ring and you curse to yourself. Sighing, you sigh and kick off your covers. 

Underneath your breath, you’re muttering heaps of profanities, reaching over Hoseok to grab your phone and turn off the alarm. The time reads 4:30 am, the typical time you’ve chosen to wake up on weekdays. Grumbling, the heat of Hoseok’s body has come to bother you. Throwing your phone down haphazardly, you’re pushing at Hoseok’s sides. “Wake up.”

Groggily, Hoseok shuffles in your satin bed sheets. The expensive fabric shuffling with each of his movements. Comfortable, he ignored your words, his mind still tired and fogged up, not completely aware of his surroundings as he pulled the blankets over his bare body. Gritting your teeth, you try it again, repeatingly telling him to wake up, patience running thin. 

“I swear to God,” You whispered, slapping him to grab his attention. The ache that was pounding in your head failed to go away as you rubbed circles into it. Him frightening you so early in the morning had really set you off. Ripping the sheets off of Hoseok, you climbed out of bed. The cold air that surrounded the man surely woke him up as he shivered and held his body closely. “Get up, Hoseok!”

i was super excited bc i luv ur writing !! but the beginning is so adorable 🥺 featuring my fav liddol baby yeona who is ready to conquer the world and who i would not hesitate to drop everything for ! i love how well-written her character is and how easy it is for us to fall in love with her little adorable, bright, n bubbly self 🥺 it only adds to the heartache to know how much pressure there is to not burst her little bubble :( omg i’m sad now :(

“no mommy! i’m okay,” she says, even when she stumbles slightly on the sidewalk’s pavement. lauren has mElted. stopped working. heart bursted. uwu’s out of control. this was so so adorable and it only made me mOre sad :( i hope jk and wife which is me but weird to refer to as myself get back together 🥺 for our little yeona ! our fav bby girl !

yeona eagerly nods. “it’s daddy’s day, remember?” hello once again i cry. i bawl. i weep an ocean of tears. i sob my eyes out. dad koo is such a busy person :( but he makes time for his daughter bc she’s one of the most important people and that’s so precious :( their bond makes me sAD. it’s so wholesome and cute and and ejejejejejj can u hear me uwu’ing.
