The fact that Dana and Molly wrote the episode makes this more believable-

Some fans are expecting Luz and Camila angst next episode over Luz's lie/summer camp, and other fans are expecting Lumity angst over the key, but consider:

What if we got both?

Luz and Amity argue over Amity's choice to give up the key, and Luz and Camila argue over both Camila's choice to send her to camp, and Luz's choice to lie over it. Either one of these fights would be upsetting to Luz, but having both on the same day would be devastating.

At the same time, this also creates an opportunity for Amity and Camila to talk. They're both very protective of Luz, which led them to make choices about what was best for her. I think they could definitely empathize with the emotional reasons for what they did, but talking it out could help them realise that they may have made the wrong decisions, or at least understand Luz's side better. Amity wouldn't even need to fight with Luz to have this conversation, she could just be feeling bad about having given up the key, and that guilt could drive her to help Camila understand her own mistake.

I definitely feel like there's a connection to be made between them over how protective they are of Luz, and I wanna see it explored.

Okay so I may have forgotten about Molly McGee-

I don’t even know when it premieres or how ima pirate it but like have fun waiting for it I guess??? Anyways, you were half right? I’m not balling my eyes out because the episode was mainly taken up by Vee and she’s absolutely pure and adorable so it toned down the weight of it all-

THE END OF THE CYCLE HAS COME!

The “last normal day” was March 13, 2020. It was a Friday. Last day was on Friday the 13th. Tomorrow is August 13, 2021 which is also a Friday the 13th.

This is a fucking joke but yeah do what you want with this information. I’m not good at actually making a joke but basically in my mind I thought to myself “last normal day was a Friday 13th, tomorrow’s also a Friday 13th *insert funny joke about it being a cycle and things might go back to normal because cycle and shit*”

I’m too much of a technical person to make a joke about this and make it seem like an accident or that I’m typing lazily and sleepily at 4:52 am while it rains like fucking hell if it were a forest instead of an eternal inferno of punishment to those who have done wrong in the mortal world.

I’m hoping that after this episode (and the hiatus), both Luz and Camila will be able to talk when they meet again. Not just welcoming back to the human realm, but a full on heart to heart conversation. Being honest with each other, because that’s really what’ll help both of them. Luz was sent to camp and she was so upset by that and Camila was upset that Luz chose to stay in the demon realm. Both have wrongs, they need and deserve to stop and actually talk about things. Their emotions, thoughts, how everything is being challenged by the lies and promises. How both Vee and Luz have found families (more so Luz then Vee in my opinion, don’t come at me).

While Luz is busy looking for a way to build a new and more stable portal (hopefully before Belos), Vee and Camila might end up bonding more then they thought they would have before learning about the whole situation. If that does happen; then Camila will also have a burden of being conflicted with having Vee leave her side kinda like how Eda got worried about knowing that Luz might leave sooner than later.

That promise to stay in the human realm once Luz comes back is gonna cause so many problems....

What about her friends, Willow and Gus

And at this point I consider King and Eda as her family too

And of course Amity.

She may even break a promise, a lie

Yesterday's lie...

Whatever outcome of this, Luz will find a way to fix it, and I hope for all of them to find happiness in the end.

Not gonna lie, this was one of most rarest times I cry because of a TV show
