I’m currently on a recent diet, because I’m tired of being chubby, despite my love of food.

I love art, and all forms of it. Theatre, singing, drawing, writing, and especially fake ballet (real ballet is obviously beautiful, but, cheesy, awful ballet is just so much fun).

A Helpful Note: My last name is Duckart (Do-Cart), but, everyone says it wrong, and says “Duck-Art.” I’ve survived years of hearing the “DUCK…ART… Like, ART, made by a DUCK!” joke for years. It’s rather annoying. Ironically, that all started years before I got into art. So, as a playful, yet spiteful, retort, here is my Duck-Art blog! Mostly because it involves my last name.

Another Helpful Note: This blog isn’t just art of ducks. Sorry. I know, it’s a bummer, but, this is Tumblr, and I’m sure there are some blogs with what you’re looking for.

Silence

Everything slows; everything stops. The silence cuts through me. The feeling of slipping; the feeling of falling. Suddenly, everything is revealed. I don’t want to know. It looks so heavy. But, is it? What could be heavier than all this? The lies; the insecurities; the doubt. It’s already so heavy. I didn’t see it before. Now I have; in the silence. There’s nowhere to run; nowhere to hide. There it is; the truth. It’s time to unchain these shackles. I’m actually free. I never knew. But, I know now. There is beauty everywhere. It’s time I enjoyed it. There, in the silence, I finally made my decision. It’s time to live.
