Sarah is okay ig but Katherine's character adds a little more to the plot

You could say that, but while it adds more to the plot it also brings it down. The entire point of the musical is that a bunch of gutter rat orphans beat the most powerful man in New York.

Having a girl, daughter of the 9th most wealthy man in the US ever, apart of the Pulitzer family that gathers up a net worth of about 1.5 billion US dollars, be half the reason they won just… ruined the feat.

I will admit, Sarah was not part of the plot. I wish she was, but she wasn’t, and Katherine was definitely more apart of the musical than Sarah was the movie. Just… Katherine was involved in a bad way.

Do you know what Dilan’s plot should have been this season? Aka why Movistar+ should call me to help them write this show?

Dilan could have been Viri’s perfect counterpart, the other side of her “home situation” coin. Dilan could come from a humble family like her, but the big difference is that for him their status is not a shame or something he needs to hide and, working so he can pay his trip to Mallorca and help home? Not a shame at all! Why would it be?

They could introduce Dilan story at a supermarket clip, Viri’s boss tells her she’s going to have a new partner and we see Dilan arrive with the yellow uniform ready to do his job. Viri is all ashamed and tells him “please don’t tell anybody!” and he’s like “okay?” even if he doesn’t really understand it but he’s nice and respectful so he keeps the secret. After that we see them bonding, we see them become friends and have conversations about those bad times at home.

Viri could tell him her family situation, he could tell her about times they also had money problems and how he’s been working a lot to help but like, with a good light? We could see how one sees working and not having money to get expensive stuff/be at the same level of her friends like the worst while the other is like “yeah, I would love to have a big pool like Hugo but there’s things way more important?”. Dilan could be the one to help Viri to open her eyes and realize that she has a family that loves her, friends that would do anything for her… And that kind of things >>>> money.

And also a plot like that could introduce a concept that some might find shocking: A boy and a girl, that could totally date because they have things in common and feel comfortable with each other, remain as friends (even best friends) because being straight and from opposite genders doesn’t equal having to date.

Do you want to use Dilan as a drama factor between Viri and Hugo? You totally can without him being used and lied! You just have to make Hugo see them together after work, laughing and having fun, and make him think: “Oh… They might be dating! They are lying to me!” and him getting mad. So Viri has to come out clean about her situation and have a real moment with him, one where they talk about their differences and realize that stuff means nothing compared to what they have.
