There's that thrill of danger that makes demons so interesting to study for Lewin. The inkling that while he, as a human, can do immense damage and fight tooth and nail, Sir Pheles is probably stronger in the end. Not that he is going to test it out, but it's fun to play with that fire.

"You're probably right," the dragon says casually instead. "I couldn't beat you in that fighting game. Too bad I can't play now." And with that, Lewin does another shake right above Mephisto, shedding more feathers.

"We haven't had it happen yet. Ideally, we won't find out and we certainly won't encourage them to find out, yes?" It's more of a warning than a question.

The lack of obedience comes as no surprise, and really, neither does Lewin's unhindered approach. The man never was one to shy away from demons regardless of their ranking. Mephisto barely pays him any mind as he plucks the more stubborn of the feathers from his hair and clothes, trying to shake them off his gloves.

Oh. Well then-

"I wouldn't let that go to your head."

LOUD EXCITED SQUEALING. Huge puppy eyes, hand held out in a wordless, begging question of "can I please please PLEASE pet the dragon??" She won't move without permission first, but it's clear on her face.

Lewin considers it. Then realizing he would absolutely want to examine a dragon if he was in Shy's place, he decides 'why not'. "Okay," the dragon rumbles in amusement before he flops down to lie almost flat on the floor. Big messy feathers all over. Have fun!

What if one were to drop 3,000 bouncy balls from a seven story parking structure onto a person walking on the sidewalk below? Should the person survive, what would be the number of bouncy balls needed to kill them? What injuries would occur and what would the associated crimes be?

"They'll probably survive, ya'd need a lot more than that I'd think. Person might be bruised though so I suppose it'd be considered assault of some kind"

Lewin continues to slowly crawl towards the window. Can you hear the Jaws theme, Mephisto?

"But how can I stop scratching your home if you won't let me in?"

He sees the window opening and awkwardly starts to climb in that direction. He's not totally certain how much his two legs can handle, so the claws are diggin deep and the tail lash around anything it can find. "Hey Sir Pheles!" Lewin grins.

"!!" He recognizes that voice. Oh good.

"No. Nonono."

"You stay right there. Outside, Lewin. And stop scratching up my home!"

"Could be! With demons there's too much variety to really say for sure." His tail is also moving, shifting around.

"I've never heard of that actually happening but dragons and demonic dragons are probably different. I think you'd have to kill the dragon before planting the teeth though and I'd rather not die!" he laughs, giving a slight shake before settling down again.

"Makes sense! Scientists think that dinosaur feathers evolved for insulation and to attract other dinosaurs, so it makes sense for dragons to be the same way...I wonder if that means female dragons have duller plumage the way birds do?"

She continues with the scratching, other hand flapping at her side like a dog's tail wagging.

"Is it true that if you plant dragon's teeth, it grows an invincible army of warriors? Like the Spartoi from that chapter of Jason's adventures with the Argonauts?"

"Do you know those little grey demons that sometimes fly around? Asking questions? Turns out they're quite powerful and made me a dragon for a bit. And I want to try flying!" He was still quite excited.

Kuraokami knew that voice but the person it belonged to looked entirely different! "Lewin, is that you? Who turned you into a dragon!? And.. you wish to fly? I could teach you but how did this happen?"
