there’s this rp group on wattpad and one of the main ships is wylinh and everyone is like ‘it’s only 3 years’ BUT WYLIE IS STILL LIKE 19 AND LINH IS 15-16! also marrelinh is so much better but that’s just an opinion.

can’t believe i have to say this because it’s been brought up so many times, but i’ve seen it come up again, so here we are:

wylinh isn’t an okay ship because wylie is an adult and linh is a teenager. and i know that you may think it’s okay because “the age gap isn’t that big” and “they’re only like three years apart” and “alden is 100 years older than della”. 

since you’re caught on those details and you think that their presence makes the ship okay, let me put this into perspective: we aren’t talking about the age gap, we’re talking about the age. i wouldn’t care if they were three years apart, but both over 18. i wouldn’t care if they were three years apart, but both under 18.

what matters is wylinh is a minor x adult ship, which isn’t okay and should not be promoted or even begin to be normalized just because they’re “only three years apart.”
