We receive from life according to what we give. If you give love you receive love, if you give energy you receive energy. But all this does not apply to what you give to others or others to you. Most of all you receive what you give yourself. How often are we afraid to risk something new?Damn!!! I remember taking so many risks so many times. There were times I failed, maybe most of the time, but there were times I was successful. And all these roller coasters of fears and misgivings I faced got me here. To what I am as a person, as a boyfriend, as a brother, son, son-in-law, brother-in-law, friend, etc etc etc. Along the way, there are those who move away, there are those who don't even come close. But without fears and doubts because all this journey has made you much better. (This is what I tell myself). Some say I changed, in a derogatory way, but who said I wanted to remain the same person for 70 or 80 years that I'm going to live here? We are here to experience life to the fullest and evolve, not to stagnate, because just like stagnant water, it becomes rotten, once we stagnant, we rot from within. Samasthiti is a command to attention. Some call it Tadasana (Mountain Pose). This is the first pose to learn before any other posture. Alignment and refining our understanding of Samasthiti will lead to healthy yoga practice and life because is to use it through all day. Believe it or not, is not an easy pose because of all the alignments.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How to do it:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1-Feel the distribution of weight between the two feet and between the four corners of the feet. The weight should be on the center of the heel, on the outside of the foot, and on the balls of the toes. Lift your fingers and spread them out before placing them back on the floor. Pressing the big toe and the outside of the foot will create a strong arch through the feet.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2-Engage through the quadriceps muscles in the front of the leg. This will lift the kneecap and prevent the legs from extending too far.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3-Begin to tilt your pelvis so that your tailbone moves down and slightly forward and the top of your pelvis moves back and slightly downward. Maintain a neutral position in the pelvis to feel a smooth extension in the spine.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4-Expand through your chest and upper back at the same time. The chest should lift without bulging forward. Keep the column as long as possible. Try not to arch your lower back.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5-Roll your shoulders down and back. Try not to trap your shoulder blades. Try to a feel of subtle expansion in your upper back.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6-The arms will remain at the sides or hand together like in the photo. Keep your head slightly back, with your chin level with the floor, and looking straight ahead. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then, breathe slowly and deeply. Hold your posture and try subtle changes in pose to observe the effects they have on the body, both physically and energetically.

#Navasana variations. When you don’t know or don’t want to imagine new ways to put your abs working. Hold this poses a few breaths. You will definitely feel them.
🔥- breathe in and out calmly
🔥- relax your neck and jaw
🔥- put and maintain bellybutton in and up
