Reading fan fiction is both a blessing and a curse because on one hand you have

1. beautifully written stories that you have to archive in your mind because you don't want to forget them, you have stories so profound that just a few lines from it will stick with you for years.

while on the other hand you have

2. an amazing WIP with wonderful characterization, perfect grammar, a moral that hits close to your heart but the last chapter ends on a bad note so you check the last update and it's been two fucking years
