Hi dear! I’m sorry for taking so long to reply, but here we go!

I only read John/Sherlock fics so those are the ones I’ll recommend and oh my god so many come to mind! Here are some:

A More Vicious Motivator (Explicit | 58k words) by ShezzasCompanion. Okay but hear me out: Sherlock comes back from the death and nobody cares, not even John, until things go terribly wrong for Sherlock… will John be there to help him defeat his demons? I recently read this one and it hurt so much, so so much. Definitely a hurt/comfort, but a little bit more of hurt than of comfort!

A Case of Identity (Teen | 91k words) by jkay1980. Definitely one of my all time favourites. Sherlock and John have to pretend to be a couple in order to solve a case, but John is still not quite over the fall, how can he pretend when he keeps being haunted by Sherlock’s death? I LOVE THIS FIC SO MUCH 

To Light Another’s Path (Explicit | 128k words) by BeautifulFiction. A fandom classic, Sherlock gets ill and John has to help him, but Sherlock can’t draw the line between his life and the case, and sometimes he has to risk one over the other. This fic gave me so many feels.

The Slash Man (Explicit | 281k words) by Engazed. Here I am, once again, for the zillionth time, recommending this fic, will I never get tired of it? The answer is no, I won’t. Sherlock has to help John through his PTSD, while he tries to be the friend John deserves. It hurts me just to write this. This fic broke me. 

Trying To Find The In-Between (Explicit | 74k words) by NoStraightLine. I went through a period when I literally consumed on a daily basis a post-TRF fic, and that meant a shitload of hurt/comfort fics to read, but this one is certainly one of the best. John loves Sherlock before he jumps, but Sherlock doesn’t know he does too, and when he realizes of it, it’s too late. Or is it?

De Ses Cendres (Explicit | 104k words) by AmphigoricSymphony, DemonicSymphony. John has to recompose his life after losing Mary and the baby, and Sherlock can’t do anything but be there to try and heal him. Did you ask for angst?

On The Losing Side (Explicit | 8k words) by missselene. JESUS CHRIST THIS FIC. Thank god it’s not longer or I wouldn’t have survived it. Mary dies and John goes back to Baker Street, but he’s still not over it. And no matter how hard he tries, Sherlock knows he will never be enough to fill the void.

Filthy/Gorgeous (Explicit | 87k words) by MirabileLectu. Prostitule!lock, so I don’t think there’s too much to say, John will be there to put a broken Serlock back to pieces.

A Ritual To Read Each Other (Explicit | 68k words-WIP) by weeesi. Post-HLV. Before Sherlock manages to return from his exile, Mycroft takes John away from him, without giving anything else away. One year later, they reunite again, but things might never be the same. I love this fic but I seriously, seriously hate WIPs.

The Frost Is All Over (Explicit | 148k words) by Chryse. Victorian!lock Teen!lock. John works for the Earl, Sherlock is his son, and soon they become friends, but eventually John becomes the only person Sherlock can trust in. Will they pull it through?  I love this fic soooo sooo much!
