making art is just like showering………can’t get up and do it, can’t stop when you’ve started. you want to crawl out of your skin if you don’t do it often enough. everything in the world is the exact same

Luisa is the best older sister since Nani. Her interactions with Mirabel are so positive, and she never treats Mirabel poorly because she doesn’t have a gift. In The Family Madrigal, she smiles at Mirabel and gives her a thumb’s up. In Surface Pressure, she protects Mirabel from anything that may hurt her. There’s even a family photo right before the breakfast scene that shows Luisa with her arm around Mirabel, pulling her into the photo.

She even validates Mirabel’s suspicions about the magic. Despite her emotions being depicted as slightly silly (for kids), the narrative plays it dead serious that Luisa is going through a lot and the only person who really seems to understand that is her baby sister.

Just love Luisa and Mirabel’s relationship. It’s so wholesome.

holding hands is my favourite type of pda. i adore the way hands perfectly intertwine like two puzzle pieces that fit together. it’s so intimate yet comforting; it doesn’t have to be romantic. it’s a way of saying ‘i’m here. i’ll go wherever you want to go,’ without saying anything at all.

This woman waited for the trailer to drop to post an absolutely repugnant tweet about trans people, knowing it would be seen by tons of people she wants to hurt while the media ignores it because the trailer is a hotter topic.

J. K. Rowling is evil. If you want to enjoy her creations, do it in a way that doesn't benefit her. Sail the seas. Fuck her.

Hey so JK Rowling went full mask off and is advertising an explicitly terf store now.. Also sure is weird how TERF talking points usually consistently leave trans men out of these conversations and usually always direct their hateful rhetoric toward trans women.

it drives me crazy how humans are just meant to hold each other. how come when you hold someone's hand, your fingers just perfectly lock with theirs? how is it that when you hug someone, your face fits just right in the crook of their neck? how can your hands cup someone's face like that's their only primary function? it cannot be coincidence that our bodies are fully capable of holding another... we were designed to love

I honestly have no aspirations anymore other than i want to be able to do my silly little hobbies, treat myself every now and then and love my friends and my cats
