Help me to save my family

My name is Mahmoud, and today I am writing about my family
I’m husband and father of two children we evacuated at the beginning of the war. but my family is still suffering inside Gaza

My family was a beautiful, cheerful family that loved life and they love each other.
We have children are make fun and they the source of happiness for home

Until one day, the sounds of explosions overtook them. Days passed, and these days were very difficult for everyone in the family. Suddenly, my father fell ill, and it was determined that he was suffering with cancer, and needed surgery outside the Gaza Strip. But, because of the situation, he was unable to leave Gaza for treatment — eventually, due to lack of medical care and after suffering with his symptoms, he died. Five days after my father death, his children (my brothers- and sisters) were injured after their home was targeted. My brother suffered a double amputation of his feet and one hand, and his other siblings were injured as well, including a severe back injury.

My family suffers under these difficult situation and they have been displaced several times in more than one place.

The money raised will go towards evacuation fees for my family of 16 members : 8 adults and 8 children. I hope everyone will help my family, and help them receive the urgent medical care they need.

I hope everyone can help me 🙏
winter is returning to gaza which means white phosphorous acid rain, polio infected sewage flooding, and bitter cold with no shelter. tents are not enough.
siraj's family has 10 children in it, many under the age of 12, two newborns, and two elderly people who are susceptible to disease. his mother has diabetes, which anyone knows needs frequent monitoring and medical care. he and his family just recovered from skin infections and he doesn't want to see them suffer from all the disease the winter will bring.
siraj found a place to rent but its 1400 CAD a month. the lease lasts 6 months - he needs to raise $8400 CAD / $6253 USD as soon as possible before winter gets really ugly so he can secure his family's safety.
siraj is trying to rebuild his life. he doesn't want to let the zionist entity kick him out. he's staring this genocide in the face and telling them he doesn't care what they do, he's not leaving.
yet, he's really far from his goal. and things are moving really slowly. i don't know how many times i can repeat this same information. things change but the brutality of what they face stays the same.

I've been thinking about that last conversation with Garrus before the final push in ME3 a lot lately.
I hadn't noticed it at first because the whole conversation makes me so sad to think about, but recently I realized that if not for the apocalyptic dread, Garrus being the one to suggest retirement would actually be comical. since day one he's been a workaholic, going from the calibrating the Mako to calibrating the guns in the battery the second he's recruited. even in the Citadel DLC, drunk off his ass, he somehow finds a way to work. he couldn't retire; he'd absolutely die of boredom. and honestly? I don't know if Shepard would be able to retire all that easily either. pair that with his follow up comment of turian-human babies, and I realize that this whole conversation isn’t so much of a promise for the future as it is him throwing out his final hail mary. he's listing things that sound more improbable than defeating the reapers to get her back on track and believe in winning this war. maybe it could be "I want a life with you even though I don't think we're going to get one," but that isn't what he's trying to do.
because you see the destruction. to get TO Garrus, you had to walk past a radio reporting 100% casualties in one sector. you know it's bleak, Shepard knows, Garrus knows. it's clear neither of them think they're getting out of there. hell, the whole reason he tries to cheer her up is because he's the one who brought up last chances. so he does what he's been doing all game and throws his final attempt at cheer at her with all he's got. it's his final push.
Help Khalid Sisters in Gaza not to be Homeless
Hello Dear,
We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), are the sisters of Shaheed Khalid Saed Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi . Khalid was our older and only brother and he was a great support for us and others. As you may heard Khalid’s story in the news, he was bombed while he was riding his bicycle coming back from delivering food to our old and injured neighbors.
Before the IDF forces killed our brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and left everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our father’s restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.

Currently, the 4 of us and our parents, are living devastating and sad life in a bombed room in Gaza. It is extremely difficult for us to get the basic needs of food, water, and shelter.

We sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. We are raising funds in order to be able to pay the rising cost of basic necessities in north Gaza. Our family is large and the cost of survival in north Gaza is astronomical. If you have anything you can spare, we implore you to support us. From where you are right now, you personally can help save our lives in north Gaza.
Please donate and/or replog 🥺🙏🇵🇸

Please reblog our post, follow us @khalid-Sisters and boost our posts, and repost the link to our campaign across all your social media.
Your generosity has the power to make a significant difference, and will give us hope that there will a better future waiting for us once the war stops.
We ask God to bless you and your families and to protect you all from all calamities and to never make you feel or go through what we are going through.

i fucking hate doing this, but my house had to throw away 3 freezers and an entire fridge worth of food because we went without power for so long thanks to the hurricane that everything spoiled. if any of you feel generous and are able, i have a kofi and would appreciate any help. i also sell commissions there, so you can also get some art from it, if you want.

"I am Youssef, an 18-year-old young man, and my dreams and hopes vanished in an instant. My family’s house in Khan Yunis was destroyed, and I found myself and my family living in a displacement camp in Deir al-Balah, under the scorching sun, inside a tent swaying in the wind. I wake up every morning to the sounds of waves crashing on the shore, but they no longer mean anything to me—they only remind me of the freedom we lost and the life we once had..."
Hello everyone! As of writing this, Youssef is at $3,877 out of his EXTREMELY ACHIEVABLE $15,000 goal. He has only gotten eight don@tions in the past day. Youssef is asking for $15,000 to support himself and his family, mainly for medicine, shelter, and food, which are hellishly scarce as a manifestation of Israel's genocide. He is only 18 and he is responsible for his family's SURVIVAL. Please take the time to read Youssef's own words on his GFM page, as well as on his tumblr account, @yousefjehad3 . Read them, stare at them, process them. Let them truly sink in. Then, go to his fundr@iser and DON@TE. Every single coin you can spare counts, because everyone's small contributions will snowball into a massive one. None of these fundr@isers reached their goal because of one loaded don0r. It was always a group effort.
And, whether or not you're able to d0nate - SHARE, with your family, your friends, your groupchats, your tumblr followers, so that someone who can will have the chance to see it! If you are on Tumblr, you are able to reblog.
Don't ever think your contributions are useless. They provide material help and are expressions of care during impossibly dire times. Palestinians quantifiably cannot afford your apathy.
Youssef's GFM is vetted. He is shown on line 255 on the Vetted Gaza Evacuation Fundr@iser List by @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi.

(btw, I've heard that it's not a good idea to tag posts like this with terms such as correctly-spelled 'don@tions,' which is why I'm spelling things as such. I encourage you to refrain from tagging your reblogs with these terms just in case..)

🛑I will never be ashamed to talk about my period struggles in war‼️
In this war, I am facing indescribable suffering. When my period comes, I cannot find the sanitary pads I need. Their prices have become so high that I am forced to look for unhealthy alternatives, such as old cloths. This is not only inconvenient, but it also puts my health at risk and increases my pain. I feel embarrassed and anxious, not only because of the physical pain, but because I know that my need for something as simple as pads is not available under these harsh conditions. All I ask for is a little understanding and support in these difficult times. Any amount will ease my pain and suffering. Do not forget the suffering of girls in war

I was naive to think this site would be more sensible to Mahmoud's situation. This is just like on twitter where people share his posts but nothing else is done.
Only 3.2k left on his campaign yet it feels like he'll reach it in an eternity if ever. He only received €16 today. Very fun fact : if it keeps going at this rate (which is already wishful thinking) then he'll reach his goal in 200 days :)) !! I don't think displaying his suffering and photos of all the people he lost on here would do anything to help. I'll only ask you to donate if you want to help a young palestinian taking care of his family. And if possible share his campaign as widely as you can and to not forget him please.
You can donate here.

I'll keep on adding update to this post to keep track of the progress of his campaign.
I'm seeing so many palestinian fundraisers that are getting completely abandoned by people the moment they meet a short term goal or a goal they need to extend, if not a bit before. This can't keep happening, especially when one of the reason they need to extend their goal is because fundraising is taking so much time and the prices in Gaza are only going up. Making them wait even more will only exacerbate the problem.
These last few weeks, the complacency towards campaigns has been getting worse and worse and I don't know why. I hope everyone reading this realise palestinians have been constantly victims of bombings, shootings, malnutrition and diseases for close to A YEAR now. This should not ellicit apathy at the amount of suffering we're seeing from them everyday but the opposite! We should keep helping even more!
When the US and other western countries are more willing to give weapons to Israel than we are to donate $5 to a palestinian family, what does it say about us?
In any case, if you still care about helping people going through a genocide please consider donating to my friend Mahmoud @mahmoudjumaa1238 . He had to extend his goal to 20k because of the increasingly high living expenses in Gaza and need to get to 15k by the end of September. Since reaching 10k he has been receiving very few donations.

I know I sound like a broken record by now: repeating the same things others have said before but I think banality of it all is the point of my post. The fact that I have nothing new to say– not about the genocide in Gaza, not about the dwindling attention of allies, is HORRIFYING.
It has been 11 months of a genocide that the UN calls “war on children”. Malnutrition, diseases, lack of suitable medical care have caused Gazan children to lose their childhood; to lose their lives entirely!
There is no hope left for a future unmarked of pain and my friend Siraj Abudayeh ( @siraj2024 ) , who is father to three sons describes it as a “feeling of oppression”. He laments that his children have been forced away from their schools, hopes and dreams by colonizers and where before there were ambitions to excel in either studies or sports, all they know now is helplessness, fear and anger.
Siraj has told me how his children- Abed, Muhammad and Amir have confessed to their father about how they have begun to feel guilty for surviving at all now ; after having lost so many of their friends to the genocide they are experiencing survivor's guilt and it breaks my heart to hear that. Abed, the eldest son, is ONLY ELEVEN!! Can you imagine an eleven year old feeling guilty because he has managed to survive while his friends haven't ? And what kind of survival it is– Half starving, drinking unclean water, forced into tents where sand mites pester him throughout the day?
I am not sure what happened or why the engagement with fundraisers has dropped so drastically lately but there is nothing more atrocious, more horrible than apathy when children are suffering. It is so strange that we can quote James Baldwin so easily and yet have failed to understand what he meant when he said,
"The children are always ours, every single one of them, all over the globe; ...whoever is incapable of recognizing this may be incapable of morality. ”
We have the power that is not afforded to Gazans and therefore it is on us to be attentive no matter how repetitive these posts feel. It is ridiculous and dehumanizing that during a genocide one has to worry about making a post original enough to maintain attention. And yes I know that we won't be able to stop the horrifying banality of Israel’s evil in a day but WE CAN help provide FIVE families that are dependent on this fundraiser with a lifeline during times such as these.
Please we have managed to get this far after struggling for so long, it cannot be that we will fail Siraj when he is so close to the end goal of 82k !!
So DONATE AND BOOST. Find it in yourself to not just reblog but circulate the fundraiser among your colleagues, friends and family. Share it in your whatsapp chats and discord servers. Share it on every other platform that you may have a reach on.
Currently at $72,987 CAD of the short term goal of 75k. We have 2k left to raise by tomorrow.

And while you're here, please share and donate to be able to help a woman widowed by genocide and her 2 young children. They live in a tent exposed to the elements and bugs, and winter is fast approaching.
