I have a dumb idea that I want to share
This is supremely dumb and weird so I feel it’s perfect for Tumblr

"what if a child sees it?"
I don't know, and plainly, I don't care. It's not my job to help them form their morals and it's not my job to be family friendly. it's the parents' job to not allow their child to see dark fiction if they're going to believe that incest is okay after reading fanfics.
"what if a groomer sees it and feels validated by it?"
I don't care. that is out of my control, once again. AUs and movies will also sometimes not directly tell you that murder is bad, does that validate any other murderers? no? that's what I thought. A groomer can feel validated by anything if they try hard enough. I don't need to force feed you the idea that "hey, pedophilia is bad! ew, yucky."
imagine, you were exposed to porn at a young age, would you blame the pornstar for allowing you to see that despite them being on their own website for their specific shit? no, you'd blame whoever allowed you to see that, either by neglecting you or forcing you to watch it. so why is it the writer's fault if a child reads a darkship fanfic?

Woah I love that tiktokers are finally understanding proship---

Y'ALL DON'T KNOW WHAT THESE WORDS MEAN.
About a year ago my SO and I watched all of Glee. Because we hated ourselves.
It was bad, real bad, sometimes it got into “so bad it’s good” territory, but mostly it was just bad. But there was one character who left a bad taste in my mouth, and bad because of how real they were.
What character am I talking about?
Am I talking about Sue, the cartoonish bigot who’s one of the few redeeming parts of this show? Obviously not with the way I just described them.

Is it Will Schuester and his borderline creepy behavior with his students and two wives? No, there have been plenty of people pointing out his weird shitty behavior, and I feel I hate him a normal amount.

Is it Rachel because she’s Rachel? No.

In my own humble opinion, the worst character in the show is
Kurt Hummel

Did I need to tease this out over several blurbs about other characters? Not really, I just wanted to share my appreciation for Sue and hatred for Will and Rachel
I hate Kurt the most because he’s the perfect representation of queer respectability politics and tenderqueers, which are poison.
I’d like to take a step back and say that I understand that Kurt was an important character for a lot of people. He was unabashedly openly gay, and for a lot of people (my younger brother included) seeing him on screen was a message of “Hey, you’re not alone, ok?” And if Kurt is that for you, please do not let some random asshole on the internet take that away from you.
Personally, as a bisexual demiboy, Kurt was fucking annoying.
We all know the infamous “Bisexual is just what gay guys call themselves when they want to hold a girl’s hand and feel normal,” we know about how he’s constantly on the girl side whenever there’s a boy/girl split.
But the worst thing is how often he gets super pearl clutch-y over *everything.* Anything that isn’t cutely holding hands and pucker kissing is given the Kurt sneer and snark. Kurt’s bully getting over his internalized homophobia? Well he’s at a gay bar catered to bears, so he’s gross. Blaine is questioning his sexuality and wants to explore the possibility he’s bi? That’s gross, you’re supposed to fall in love with meeeeeee.
He’s entitled and whiny and I don’t like him. And honestly? That Twitter thread of someone going to Folsom Street Fair and getting offended over the gay BDSM festival having a lot of gay men doing BDSM things smells of Kurt. That idea that all queerness must be filtered through an idealized version of 1950’s family values. That anything weird or strange or, y’know, queer, should be shamed and hidden away.
I’m kinda rambling but what else is Tumblr for?
Yes?
