All roads of your life had lead you to this moment, standing in front of this worn down house, a desperate plan in place. The house looked much like how you felt. Broken windows boarded up, the paint peeling, trying in vain to stay attached to the rotting boards along the sides of the old, Victorian styled house. Warnings from the city decorated the fence surrounded the property. The third stair leading to the porch was completely missing, the remaining three looking like they’d break if you looked at them wrong. It had been a resplendent house once upon a time. If not for the misfortune that fell on the inhabitant.
