Skit for my Late Born Sun au: Uppies!

Context: Sun is still young and smol, he’s learning to speak so hearing new words(or words at all) from him is a rarity. Moon’s trying to get Sun to learn new words, but any new words will also catch Moon off guard

Sun: *Babbling, he obviously wants something*

Moon: Sun.. We need to use our big boy words if we need to ask for what we want.

Monty: He doesn’t know how to speak well yet man, I don’t know what else to tell you.

Moon: He- Monty he has a functioning voice box and he can understand us, it’s built in for him to learn and understand languages-

Monty: And how long did it take you to learn how to properly take care of kids as the MAIN daycare attendant? How long did it take us to learn all of the things that we know?

Moon: Don’t you use our past stupidity against me-

Monty: Oh I will absolutely point out how stupid we- no YOU were when we were younger.

Monty: He’s only 4 months old and is programmed as a learning and adapting being, he isn’t programmed with instant access to knowledge of certain things-

Monty: YOU were 7 months old when you figured out you were cleaning with the wrong side of a sponge!

Moon: and WHO was the one who told YOU that you’d been wearing your glasses upside down for a WHOLE YEAR MONTGOMERY GATOR!

Monty: WELL AT LEAST I DIDN’T CRASH A CAR INTO GATOR GOLF LIKE YOU DID WITH THE BALL PIT MOON-RISE!

Moon: WELL AT LEAST I DON’T NEED TO BEG MY ‘BEST FRIEND’ FOR MONEY JUST TO FINISH GATOR GOLF
