happy birthday nobara! congrats on being freed from the curse of living ig 🥹🎂
I am SO SO fucking sick of seeing people bashing black writers for what we choose to write. Just because you don't relate to something doesn't mean it sucks. Everything is not about you.
The main character syndrome is strong as fuck with some of y'all.
Why do y'all think people have YOU specifically in mind when they write when they don't even know you?
If someone wants to write hood black women, they can because maybe it's what they can relate too and some other women can relate to because, surprise, it's some people's reality.
If black women want to write shy, awkward, and goofy black women, they can. Because it's black women that can relate to that too.
Also, please shut the fuck up with the "this character isn't like this in the show, he's white, he's this and that." What the actual fuck do y'all think an AU is.
AU stands for alternate universe.
"An alternative universe (also known as AU, alternate universe, alternative timeline, alternate timeline, alternative reality, or alternate reality) is a setting for a work of fan fiction that departs from the canon of the fictional universe that the fan work is based on"
Has it ever crossed y'all pea sized, smooth brains that maybe the character has been brought into the universe I created and I can do what I please with this FICTIONAL man?
If I want to bring Eren Jaeger's white, German ass into this universe and make him a hood ass white man (because they do exist) from Atl, I will.
Why y'all be acting like black people the only ones that be from the hood?? I've met hood ass white people, latino(a) people, Asian people. Like??
It's like y'all fail to realize you do NOT have to read anything.
If you want to read something specific, open your own Google docs, notepad, Microsoft Word template and write the shit yourself.

Marcelat Sakobi of Democratic Republic of Congo, at the end of the women’s round of 32 boxing match against Uzbekistan's Sitora Turdibekova, made a strong gesture to raise awareness of the ongoing genocide in the DR Congo by placing her hand in front of her mouth and pointing two fingers at her temple.
