LOCATE THE WHIMSY
IF NONE, CREATE THE WHIMSY
MAINTAIN THE WHIMSY

things i learned this year -2022 -putting yourself first doesn’t necessarily make you selfish -i enjoy being along and my own company but i’m not as big an introvert as i thought -you don’t owe anyone anything -no one is entitled to an explanation on your life/decisions if it don’t affect them -some things just aren’t meant to be -you have to accept that you can’t control everything -there’s no use in worrying bout things you don’t have power over -live in the moment and enjoy the now -honesty>everything -everyone is going through their own stuff -productivity≠getting the most things done -quality over quantity applies to almost everything -you can’t expect a situation to get better if you don’t put the effort in -they weren’t kidding when they said using your phone less has benefits -READ MORE BOOKS -school is important but never a #1 priority -dating in hs is most definitely not the move -international music/films/media is so good -not to take things too seriously -if you take a step back from a situation it usually isn’t as bad as you think it is -take more picture -writing/journaling is literally therapy -first impression can be wrong -don’t hate kids much as i say i do (still don’t want any tho) -music will forever be my favorite art form -nothing wrong with being loud and goofy -if you tried every way to fix something and it won’t work it’s time to let it go -it’s ok to not know -empathy is probably the best character trait -my love language is def physical touch -i love a good movie -the best pieces of media are the ones that make you think/question -i’m more creative/imaginative than i thought -moving abroad sounds real nice -i crave nothing more than to be understood -it’s absolutely better to ease into things -lack of communication will kill any relationship (platonic, romantic, familial, etc) -there is quite literally no point in comparing yourself to others originally will always be cool -tying to fit every aspect of your life into a singular aesthetic is pointless -it truly is never that serious -don’t chase things that clearly aren’t meant to be apart of your life -we should appreciate the moon more -find joy in the little things -the people you surround yourself w impact you so much it’s crazy -self awareness is a blessing and a curse tbh -ignorance truly is bliss -my cousins>everyone -not everyone will understand your path and that’s ok -sometimes you just gotta go with the flow
