So, uh, I know I'm obsessed with something when I draw it in Roblox lollll

Warning! Spoilers for Act 5 and Act 6 of In Stars and Time! Though, the first one is less spoilers than the second one.

Spoiler one will be under the cut, but this first one I think is vague enough it should be fine.

Also, interactions I had while drawing these also under the cut!

Roblox free draw is actually great when you get used to it! I love its top down feature so much.

Anyways, these are basically just redraws of a certain portrait or frame, but that's how it goes sometimes.

Some interactions I had while drawing these:

1. While drawing Siffrin, somebody came up to me and said "a member who discriminates against all those whose skin does not match their clothes." Or something along those lines. And I just 😭😭😭

2. Someone wrote Loop saying something in Russian underneath my drawing. Not sure what, but I think it was something about crypto? I just assumed it was "buy crypto!" But I could be super wrong on that front.

3. Someone and their friend came up to me with voice chat. The first guy complimented my Loop drawing while the other guy played slurping sound effects. 😭 The sound effects guy left while playing "nom nom nom nom nom nom nom" lolll

I like drawing on Roblox though, silly things happen there sometimes.

I love when trauma makes characters messy. I love when characters don't know how to show love. I love when they lash out. I love when they're vile and break down. I love characters who aren't perfect victims. I love when stories don't excuse behaviour but allow you to understand it

Everyone Except For Siffrin Is Looping Au Except Someone Wishes That Siffrin Knew Everything There Was To Know About The Loops And Subsequently Accidently Replaces Their Non-Looping Siffrin With Post Game Canon Siffrin And They Only Find Out Cause Siffrin Gets The Memory Of Back In The Fucking Building Again.

So basically this is how I’m imagining Zelda lore now

The band that made the wolf in sheep’s clothing song made sans merch for their 10th anniversary that’s amazing

Twilight princess was the shit for weird little girls growing up in the wii era. You’re telling me there’s a game where you can turn into a wolf and terrorize people?? The whole game is full of an eerie and dark aesthetic?? Also midna is there

I have. Many thoughts about this crossover rn

Like, It could be a LU and Isat crossover, or it could be MM Link and Siffrin meeting each other, or it could be a mixture of both.

Looking at AO3, this hasn't been done by anyone else, so anything goes rn. (Usually, seeing what others have done helps me narrow down what I want to do.)

Also, I love the tree door idea! Might implement that! And yes, if I go that route, Siffrin would definitely be freaking out

And people don't cross over Zelda with any sort of indie game, really

And both fandoms have time loops at some point soooooo

Everytime I see posts like this I get filled with such profound sadness

Cause you know who has the same brainrot as you? The same unhinged feelings as you after you've read the fic? The person who always wants to scream about the fic with you?

THE PERSON WHO WROTE IT

I never used to leave comments but since I got into the habit of commenting on everything i enjoy it's been incredible. Especially when the author gets back to me about it and we get to have a discussion of what other ideas they had. One writer replied to my comment with a 5 paragraph essay detailing the Floorplan of the building the characters lived in and it was incredible

Anyways this is all to say that if you find a fic that just makes you want to scream from the rooftops, leave a comment saying that to the author and maybe they will join you and you can scream incoherently together

I imagined Zelda flirting during the Echo Link fights and it was so funny to me I had to manifest it 😂

Just beat Echoes of Wisdom! Which means time for a post based on my thoughts. I'll start with nonspoiler things, like mechanics, UI, design and gameplay. Then I'll move onto spoilers, which will be under the cut.

I quite like the echo mechanic! It's very different from a normal Zelda game and so I have to actually think. Though the menus for choosing echoes sucks. They pulled a TotK again with that one which leads to annoying, endless scrolling.

They definitely copied most of the menus and such from BotW, which ig I don't mind too much, but it would've been fun to have a fresher design with some of that.

Also, I never once talked to Dampé, so idk what that's like, so I can't talk about that.

NOW. On to the spoilers! Mainly just all story stuff.

First, the whole fugitive Zelda thing was really fun. The game starts and Tri's just like "YOU GONNA DIE!!!!" Which is hilarious, btw. I wish there were more people who knew about Zelda's imprisonment throughout the journey. It would've upped the stakes a lot if word had spread and you're not sure where is safe. Oh well, missed opportunity.

Then, I just loved all the characters in this game. They all have distinct personalities and problems, it's fun watching them build character and learn more about their issues. I especially love that they brought back yetis with Condé.

Quick ship talk bc that's where my brain is taking me. Idk which ship I like more: Zelink or Zelda X Dohna in this game. Or Zelda is an independent woman who don't need romance. (Hi, I'm aroace, I always leave room for that possibility.)

Anyways, Null was a pleasant surprise! I love the lore we got surrounding them and then how clear their motive was. Null was a villain in the sense that they are very selfishly motivated. Nintendo really cooked with this villain, ngl. The fact that they aren't remotely humanoid (except the hands) is very nice, love the distinction. Null isn't redeemable because of how twisted they are. So yeah, I like Null.

Link is so interesting in this game! And he has a known personality, I love it. I'll also take his gesturing at the end of the game as him signing, instead of talking. I know that's what they were implying, but I prefer it if he just was signing. Things like that don't just randomly fix themselves. (Even if the rifts are all gone. And Null is gone. Idc pffff)

I do like the return to the traditional Zelda formula. They didn't diverge from said formula too much, but it was still open world. It kinda felt like A Link Between Worlds. That means it does suffer from the lack of a difficulty curve as you go on.

Also, Zelda is so cute in this game. Adorable outfits and I just love her model, it makes me happy.

But yeah, I love that Zelda got her chance to be a menace this time. (The amount of times I've committed arson is insane.)

I love when games write in explanations for you dying and I wish TP would have gone harder with Midna pulling you out of your bullshit shenanigans.
