What an odd hobby for a port mafia executive. But they do have their own lives, their own interests and dislikes. Sometimes, people outside the mafia would forget that.

You were precise and specific with your movements, making sure to measure every ingredient you add into the mixture. You were so focused and in the zone, it was admirable—in a way, to your ginger-haired boyfriend. But seriously? Couldn’t this wait till morning?

Chuuya, wiping away the tiredness in his eyes, plopped down on one of the stools in front of the marble kitchen island. 

“Listen, your baking ‘n cooking tastes good as hell, so don’t get me wrong. But just how much coffee have you consumed earlier today to the point ya had to get up at 2 AM in the morning to bake cupcakes?”

You rolled your eyes at his revelation, sliding your gaze from him to the tray you were about to place your batter into. “Okay? What about it? That mission in Madrid really stressed me out. And this is more of a.. coping mechanism, I guess??” 

He couldn’t help the small, sheepish smirk that creeped its way to his face. Every experience with you was never boring. It was as if you brought.. what’s the word for it? Thrill and excitement, most likely.

Chuuya was quite used to your antics. Most of the time, you wouldn’t even eat the food that you make. Maybe one or two pastries, but you always made sure that Chuuya gets something to eat.

You had thought that these small acts, Chuuya would forget. But how could he forget it? Even actions so small such as making sure Chuuya is drinking enough water, getting enough food, enough rest, and—fuck’s sake, so much more.

It’s these small acts of love that Chuuya is reminded that he owns all of your love.
