    Barley walks into your shared room where you'd been laying in bed on your phone, he sighs, slumping his shoulders. His eyes looked so tired.

    "Hi," you say softly, looking at him from over your phone. "Hi," he replies in a grumble.

    "You okay?" You ask in a gentle voice. He shakes his head, defeated. 

    "Work was rough?" You speak tenderly. He exhales deeply, nodding solemnly.

    You pout slightly, placing your phone down onto the blanket beside you. You open your arms, doing a grabby motion to him, "C'mere."

    He gives you a small smile, crawling onto the bed and flopping down on top of you. You let out a huff, smiling as you hear him giggle. He relaxes, resting his head on your chest.

    You carefully take his beanie off and place it on your nightstand, then moving your hand to massage his scalp. Your other hand then moves to gently scratching his upper back, just barely touching. 

    You feel him physically deflate, like all of his pent up frustration just disappeared as he sighs. You smile down at him as his fingers wander tiredly along your outer thigh.

    "Hey, how about we order in some takeaway? Pizza, chinese, your choice," He chuckles, humming positively in response. 

    "We can also watch a movie, I can run down to the store and buy some snacks. And this time, you can choose what we watch, yah?" You speak somberly. 

    Barley nods his head, "Yes to all of that, but can we just stay like this for now?" He looks up at you tiredly. 

    You nod your head gently, "Of course we can, teddy," you pet his hair, lovingly kissing the top of his head.

    "Thank you, sweetness," he says gratefully, snuggling into you.

Barley has ONE chunky bottom. Do you canon that he’s insecure about it?

I didn't understand what you mean by "bottom" and "canon", soooo... I'll take you to mean that I do think he feels insecure about being fat. If I have made a mistake in my interpretation, please correct me.

To be honest no.

Barley doesn't feel bad about his body. Have you seen how he proudly grabs his stomach when he says he trusts it? Hahaha. That man feels perfectly in his skin, I love him.

Throughout the film (and also the official comics and art) he demonstrates confidence and comfort in his body language. At no time does he seem to feel inhibited by his appearance, quite the opposite. Barley is one of the men who is proud of having a big stomach.
