Legend Had Another Dream About Her Again. This One Had Seemed So Real, He Even Felt The Warm Grittiness
Legend had another dream about her again. This one had seemed so real, he even felt the warm grittiness of the sand digging into his face after washing up on the sand. He couldn’t stop thinking about her soft, warm smile and her sun-kissed face. It hurt him every time he saw Time’s wife, Malon, he was certain that his Marin must have been related to her somehow. He missed her more and more every day and couldn’t shake the thought that maybe he didn’t have to wake the Windfish. He could’ve stayed on Koholint for the rest of his life. He could’ve been a part of that cycle forever. He wouldn’t have to worry about saving Hyrule or have to go on any more adventures ever again. He could have stayed with her in that fantasy land, he could have maybe even raised a family with her. But now, he would never see her again. It was his fault she was gone and there wasn’t anything he could do about it.
It wasn’t like he wouldn’t ever find love again. He had, he loved his stupid boyfriend. There was a time when he thought he would lose Ravio, too. Legend didn’t think he could live with the fact that he was the reason he would lose his two lovers forever. Miraculously, Ravio (with help from Hilda) was able to restore the magic connecting the two worlds. The goofy merchant visited him often now, sometimes even when Legend didn’t want him to. He still couldn’t shake the feeling that he almost lost Ravio, just like he did with Marin.
It’s not fair for him to want Marin back, he often thought, now that he had Ravio. What would he do if he could get her back? He loved Marin, but he also loves Ravio. It wouldn’t be good for either of them if he tried to keep them both close. Legend knew he needed to move on from this girl. There was no way to see her again, and she didn’t actually exist anyway. It killed him to think that, but he knew it was true. He hated himself for living in the dream, and he hated the Windfish for pulling him in and showing him this girl that he would never see again. Legend couldn’t look out at the ocean without thinking of her and he cried every time he saw a seagull. Her face often made an appearance in his dreams, and she would always reassure him that it was okay, it was not his fault, but the guilt still stabbed him every day.

Another thing for school. I don't really edit these, I just throw words on a paper. Maybe I'll write something more formal later and actually edit it 🙃

“No way, absolutely not.” Four pushed Twilight’s arms away, which were holding a very fluffy, somewhat chunky, calico cat.
“Aw, come on, Clover won’t hurt you, she’s the nicest kitty I know.” Twilight looked at the short blacksmith and pleaded with him with his eyes. Four remained unfazed. He didn’t trust cats, especially cute ones. Those were the deadliest cats, after all. They watched you, day and night, calculating and planning so they could one day get rid of you in the most effective way possible. He knew one day these cats would take over the world and push everyone else out, but none of the others seemed to believe him. He sighed. One day they would realize he was right.
Twilight loved all animals, but cats seemed to be his favorite. They seemed to love him as much as he loved them. They would follow him around everywhere and the rancher was often seen with flocks of cats around his ankles. It always made Four nervous, but he was also glad they stuck to Twilight and ignored him. He still shivered every time he saw one. He had battled so many different kinds of monsters and enemies, but nothing had scared him more than the cats. He had approached them, thinking they would be nice and help him out like the dogs had, but he was wrong. As soon as they had seen him, they stalked him, swiped at him, and continued to pursue him when he ran. Even when he knew he was safe, he still couldn’t shake the feeling that the cats were still watching him, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

I wrote this for a school assignment, but I'll share it here too.
(personally, I prefer cats over dogs)
