S1 The first thing Adrien did for Marinette was undoing an instance of Chloe bullying her. Adrien then tells her to start being nicer which hinders the more egregious bullying compared to last year's.

No wonder she fell for him, he helped save her from the nightmare she was living in and I love that for them.

Malediktator firmly planted the idea of a Chloé redemption arc in my head. Probably part of the reason I wrote "Ladybug and the Bee" and rewatching it really reminded me that dang, they really had something going there huh?

I love their dynamic in this episode so much. Only with Ladybug does Chloé finally open up and I believe her and Marinette could've eventually had a relationship that strengthened both of them. Rip in peace Chloé redemption arc

This story explores what a redemption arc for Chloé could've looked liked as she seeks to turn over a new leaf and slowly become friends with Marinette.
