Companions to Princess Rhaena Targaryen, all five ladies were poisoned by Tears of Lys in 54 AC. Alayne and Samantha had been with Rhaena since 49 AC, when they arrived to Fair Isle for Rhaena’s wedding to Androw Farman. They stayed with the princess at Faircastle where they, along with Rhaena and Elissa Farman, became inseperable and often rode Dreamfyre together. They were dubbed by Ser Franklyn Farman: “The Four-Headed Beast”. When Rhaena took up her new court upon Dragonstone, Alayne and Samantha went with her. In 54 AC, they were joined by Septa Maryam, Cassella Staunton, and Rhaena’s young cousin Lianna Velaryon. All would die before the end of the year, victims of Androw Farman, Rhaena’s husband, who had grown jealous of his wife’s friendships with her ladies.

I think one of the reasons why Austin Butler’s so beloved (besides being an incredibly attractive movie star) is he’s just a guy you want to root for. He’s a shy kid from California who loves movies and his family/friends and is kind to everybody he meets and never has a bad word to say about anybody and never makes a woman feel uncomfortable and constantly wants to learn how to be better at what he does.

That’s just not a guy you can root against. You wanna see that guy succeed.
