Aka Lycoris it took you like two years to figure this out BUT YES I AM PROUD OF MY FRIDGE LOGIC.

So we all know how Yuusei's papa is Dr. Sparkly Bitchslap, Aki's parents used to be the exact opposite of parental support for their child and the twins' parents were too busy to notice their kids are risking their lives to save the city they live in, right? Okay. These aren't the worst examples of YGO parents you can find, but certainly are enough to understand why everyone ever has serious parental abandoment issues there. And then we've got Jack and Crow, who share the trait to varying extents (by which I mean Crow goes off-scale with that one, dear lord), but that's purely because they have no parents whatsoever and we've never had a chance to see what kind of people they were, right?

Wrong.

Because lucky as we are, the viewers were blessed with the sight of both Jack's and Crow's parents which ultimately leads to deep thoughts and enlightement regarding the guys' lives and behavior.

Ready?

Yep.

When you think about it, after Yuusei fell into Momentum/Gate of the Underworld/Raibow Pit/whatever the hell you call it, he met the spirits of people who died in Zero Reverse there, no? Cool, meaning the parents of his best pals were among them.

Which leads to the following conclusion: they have something they need to talk about because for goodness sake, that is not some tiny detail it needs to be discussed. What could the said discussion look like? My vote goes for this:

And this is exactly why Yuusei had never brought it up.
