A Daughter of the Mountains in the City of Dreams

Longing for the Familiar

I came from the towering peaks, where the air was breathable and the skies were hue of deep blue.

The mountains are my home, after all it is my heart's true abode, as the nature's embrace was my life's code.

Navigating the Unfamiliar

Now in the city that we call our dear capital, I am trying to find solace, but it's hard to see.

The towering buildings, the endless crowds, the cacophony of sounds, the traffic's loud.

Seeking the Comforts of Home

I long for the furious streams and meadows so silent and green, the towering pines, the snow-capped peaks of the mighty Kanchenjunga.

The simplicity of life, the rhythm of the land, where the nature's embrace was always at my hand.

Longing for the Familiar

In this concrete jungle, I feel so small, longing for the mountains, is my heart's true call.

The city's charms, I am trying to embrace, but my soul aches for the mountain's grace.

A Bittersweet Journey

I walk these streets, my heart heavy and sore, trying to find the beauty I knew once before.

But the city's gaze miserably fails to ignite my heart, which apparently remains with the mountains' might as they call for me and my soul.
