here’s my middle-earth playlist

i made a fun little playlist that was meant to give a cozy hobbit ambience, but lately i’ve been finding dwarven and elvish kind of vibe songs to add. anyways, i just wanted to share it with y’all if you guys were interested <3

satoru gojo who brings you a bouquet of flowers, but always keeps one flower to himself so he knows right away when it starts dying so that he can buy you a new bouquet.

satoru gojo who slides his arms around your waist whenever you're in the kitchen cooking, and asks "what's for dinner" just to hear the sound of your voice and feel the way your chest moves as you answer him.

satoru gojo who wants to learn how to do things like cross stich and sew with you, but focusing too hard hurts his eyes so he has to wear glasses that slide down to the tip of his nose as he works

satoru gojo who brings you home randoms gifts, ranging from a flower he picked growing in-between cracks on the side walk, to fancy jewlery, and when you ask him why, or what the occasion was he simply answers "i don't need a reason to spoil you"

satoru gojo who's love language is quality time. despite showing love in many other ways, he feels like his love is most understood and at its strongest when the two of you are spending time together. it can be anything, from cooking a meal or reading your own separate books on opposite sides of the room. as long as you're together, he isn't picky.

satoru gojo who, when it's his turn to pick the movie for movie night, always picks the movie he knows you want to watch. even if it's one he isn't particularly excited about, seeing you excited when the opening credits start to roll is enough for him to enjoy his time.

satoru gojo who writes little 'i love you's and poems on sticky notes and hides them around the house for you to find during your daily tasks.

satoru gojo who knows when you've had a bad day long before you even come home, and draws a warm bath complete with sweet smelling bubbles, bath salts and rose petals before even make it home.

satoru gojo who learns exactly how to take care of your hair, and pampers and cares for it every night before bed while you tell him all about your day.

satoru gojo who wakes you up early one day every weekend to take you to a farmer's market, walking down the closed off street hand in hand, taste testing produce and filling your basket with the fresh foods, trinkets and soaps being sold around the road.

satoru gojo who holds you as tight and close to his body as he can every night, because he realizes he can't sleep without the warmth and weight of your body next to his.

ever since gojo fell for you, he's been doing nothing but improving his technique.

when he first developed his infinity, it wasn't good enough to have "on" at all times. then he honed his skills and learned to minimize the power he uses to run his infinity at all times. when you came into the picture, he knew his infinity would be a problem in terms of intimacy. how can he protect himself without putting up a barrier between you two?

shortly after getting together with him, you noticed that you were able to touch him anytime you wanted, and the pillows you had thrown at him had all touched his skin. he must have his infinity off, you suspected. but when you saw a leaf fall off a tree and bounce off his head, and when you saw the baseball his students hit at him fall to the ground instead, you realized that he had altered his technique to automatically separate your touch and your things with everything else in the world.

one hot summer afternoon, when you were in his office with your head on his shoulder, you learned that he had extended his infinity to include you. he had called his students to his office for a quick chat, and he had insisted that you stay to "keep him on track," so you did. to recover from the burning weather, his students brought popsicles and threw one at you to share. you reached out to catch it but the popsicles stopped in the air, just 2 cm away from your palms. both you and his students turn to look at gojo, and he just blinks and says "oops," turns off his infinity and the popsicle quickly falls in your hands. the realization that no one can harm you when he's within reach sunk into your mind, and you couldn't help but sneak a glance at him, thinking about the fact that he had gone out of his way to change his technique protect you.

those are just the changes you've noticed—there are many more changes that he hasn’t gotten around to tell you and you haven’t noticed yet, but you know he’s made them for you.

LMAO y’all ever forget you wrote a fic so when you read it it’s like reading it for the first time and you’re kicking your feet and shit? no? just me?
