Clothing favorites Pt.1
Finding clothing or accesories that fit your budget and preferences is not always easy, specially if living in a small town, where not many things have a wide stock nor options to choose.
Coming from a girl that lives in a small city, here are some easy to find options. And if they're not available in your area, they can work as inspo to find other similar items.
Sneakers
As basic as they seem, sneakers can be a very good compliment to your most casual outfit.
Another benefit is that, if styled well, sneakers can determine wether an outfit is casual or more fancy. And, you can wear them with most of your clothes, and even more if they're a neutral color, such as navy blue, black, dark gray, white, and even a really light baby pink.
Examples:
1. New Balance 530.
These come in a super wide variety of colors, and due to their platform, they have a good shape inside, which helps having more comfort while walking.

Similar options:
Skechers D'lites
Nike M2K Tekno
2. Reebok Club C Extra.
I'm not sure how many color options there are, but these are very comfortable and warm. Perfect for wearing at school or casual ocasions. I have these in pink and I don't regret buying them at all. They also have an extra platform that turned out to be really comfortable, unlike other shoes.

Similar:
Puma Mayze Classic
Puma Rebound V6 Low
3. Puma Rebound V6.
I find high ankle shoes really comfortable, and they help me keep my injured ankle in place. The Puma Rebound V6 have a wide range of colors, as well as a warm and a thick fabric around the ankle. If you're looking for something basic, the white option of these sneakers is a really good option.

Similar:
Reebok Freestyle Hi
New Balance 650
Nike Air Jordan
4. Converse Weapon OX.
I haven't tried these ones before, but I think they have a different style, leaving behind the timeless Converse style. The limited edition sneakers released recently are even more special.
You can find these with high tops too.

Similar:
New Balance 550
Nike Airforce 1 '07
DC Shoes Manteca 4
Vans Lowland Lux
5. Adidas Superstar.
Even though tese had their peak in 2016, their timeless design is really easy to style and combine with several colors, shapes and textures.

Keep your peace
Dont let others disturb your peace, and by that I don't mean stopping others from acting the way they do. Of course, if someone is being disrespectful to you or mean and you can do something about it that actually solves the problem, do it. But if it's something you can't manage, dont let it bother you for long. Its normal to feel angry or upset at first, but never let it get to you.
It's important for you to learn when matters require your time and thoughts and when not. And surprise, most time, they don't.
A tip to find out wether its worth your time is by thinking deeply if its something you can control. Can you control what people say about you? No. The only thing you can do if it helps you keep your peace is ask the person why they're doing this, but there's not really much to do. What I recommend is learning how to manage the things you can control, such as how you react to other people's actions and how much attention you pay to them.
Other than that, don't worry about how people act towards you. Don't take it personal. Most of the times it's not even a personal matter. These people tend to act negatively towards other because they have some kind of problem that's affecting them in their private life.
Try not taking things too personal or blaming them on you, when most of the times it's not your problem at all. Repeat affirmations to calm you down, such as "This problem is not mine. I am not responsible of what ... thinks/says.".
Remember, never let people's negative thoughts and intentions get to you, and make sure to always keep your peace.
"Don't control what people say, control your reaction to it."
