Been laying back 'In The Cut', watching The World do its Thang... The issue of Mass Shootings in AmeriKKKa can B polarizing, but Professor Black Truth made an Excellent Point about Police Training & Protocol. The tragic School Shooting in Uvalde WAS NOT the 1st Time that Police failed 2 follow Training Protocol. From Columbine 2 Parkland, We see a hesitancy on the part of those Officers 2 ENGAGE armed assailants, despite their Training. On the flip side of The Coin, We see an almost OVEREXUBERANCE on the part of Police Officers 2 Shoot & Kill unarmed Black Men, Women, & Children.

The recent shooting of Leonna Hale, an unarmed pregnant Black Woman by Missouri Police is the latest example of what We call Double Standards. According to witnesses, Leonna was shot 5 Times by Officers, after showing compliance by raising her hands to show she was unarmed. When ordered 2 lay on the ground, she responded that she was pregnant. We know that hormones run rampant during pregnancy, so that may account 4 her attempt 2 run. That said, She wasn't given the Benefit of The Doubt that so many Armed White Men have received.

According 2 Prof. Black Truth, when the Police were questioned, the Female Officer involved said that she fired on Ms. Hale because she 'feared 4 her life' (Tried & True excuse amongst White Supremacist Women). The Male Officer said he 'believed that she had a weapon'. Was this b4 or after Leonna raised her hands? Why did she need 2 B handcuffed AFTER being shot 5 times? How is it that an armed White Man generates more restraint than a pregnant Black Woman? While i'm on The Subject, why R Anti- Black Hate Crimes considered 'Unfortunate Events', but simply cussing @ Asians, European Jews, & White LGBTQ... individuals R regarded as 'Bonafide' Hate Crimes?

The 1st Amendment protects The Right of Racists of ALL ETHNICITIES 2 throw Racial Slurs @ Black Americans, but is SILENT when Blackfolk R implicated. This move on the part of 'Minorities' 2 jump on the Anti- Black Bandwagon will have serious consequences, when the pendulum swings back towards Them. It's ironic how these Groups can speak on White Supremacy & Structural Racism when it directly affects them, but R mostly silent when acts of Anti- Black Racism make their way into Mainstream Media. Black America has been @ The Vanguard in the fight against White Supremacy for 146Yrs.

Over those years, (Indigenous) Black Americans have fought not just 4 Our Right of Expression, but 4 the Rights of EVERY GROUP that has been marginalized by the Forces of White Supremacy; both @ Home & Abroad. Most of the so called 'Black & Brown People' that immigrated here, owe Black America a HUGE 'Thank You'. Before 1965, the majority of immigrants coming 2 AmeriKKKa came from England, Germany, & Australia. The U.S. Government had a STRICT POLICY that limited the # of 'non- White' immigrants allowed into The Country. The Civil Rights Movement opened the door 4 them. Black Immigrants in particular, numbered less than 1% of the overall Black population back in 1960. 2day, they number around 10%.

We fully understand the circumstances that motivated many of these people 2 seek a better life here. We're simply pointing out that We have been fighting This Fight 4 so long, that it's part of Our Cultural Identity & Lineage. These 'Minority Groups' have very short memories- They somehow forgot how They ALL rode on Our Shoulders, b4 The U.S. Gov't decided 2 GIVE them the benefits & privileges (Affirmative Action Initiatives) set aside SPECIFICALLY 4 Us. They have lived their 'American Dream' @ Our Expense 4 so long, that They actually believe that They have a Social Position over Us.

As White Supremacist activity rises (as it ALWAYS does during Times of Recession), We will see more attacks on 'Soft Targets'. Black America got caught up in Bill Cosby's perspective of The American Dream, but We NEVER aspired 2 Collectively integrate into White America. We have a genetic memory that reminds Us of why We NEED 2 have Our Own. This makes 4 a Hard Target. The Suburban Enclaves of Black & Brownfolk, who lived among Us, but couldn't wait 2 get AWAY from Us, will B the targets. They don't see it coming, but WE DO! We will watch how They respond. Historically, their recourse has been to FLEE, or look 2 Us 2 Stand w/ Them; but They didn't want Solidarity w/ Us, They wanted SUPERIORITY over Us... Now They will have 2 fight Their Own battles.

What's REALLY going on in NYC?

NYC is pushing a narrative of a dramatic increase in Violent Crime, w/ a focus on Shooting Incidents. I can relate 2 the frustration of Mayor Adams & Police Commissioner Sewell. No One wants 2 live in a War Zone, or see Police Officers- especially Young Officers & Rookies getting shot & killed on the Streets they patrol. That said, We really need 2 look @ the role Bail Reform plays in this 'Spike'.

I thought that Bail Reform was supposed 2 B offered 2 'Non Violent Offenders', but many of these Assaults & Shooting Incidents involve individuals (many just Teenagers) that were arrested on Violent Crime Charges & released on bail. What's going on? 'Crimes of Convenience' normally rise during Times of Recession, & COVID has many in Economic Distress. Letting Violent Offenders 'Out on Bail' only seems 2 B emboldening these individuals 2 escalate. What do they really have 2 fear? Is it a coincidence that this 'Spike' began around the Time of the Chauvin Trial?

People took 2 The Streets demanding Police Reform, but now We only hear that more resources need 2 B put into 'Street Crime Units'. I remember Eric Adams as the Spokesman 4 '100 Blacks In Law Enforcement' speaking out against Police Violence, so i'm willing 2 see what The Mayor & Police Commissioner have in mind. That said, i'm Clear Eyed about 2 'Black' Leaders sending Police into Black Communities, using (updated) Tactics that remind Me of 'Guiliani Time'.

Could resources dedicated 2 Mental Health Outreach & keeping Violent Offenders off The Streets B a better use of City Funds? Is this 'Spike in Violent Crime' a distraction created 2 shift the narrative away from the spotlight on a National Epidemic of Black Men being wantonly shot & killed by Police Officers? The whole thing reminds me of the Early 90's, when Joe Biden & Hillary Clinton pushed a narrative of the (Black Male) Super Predator. Where's the concern over the 'Spike' in Young White Males committing Mass Shootings? What about stopping the 'Steel Pipeline' arming them?

Another thought about Will Smith's 'Incident'

What I find comical, are the number of Comedians lining up to get their shots in on Will Smith. I'm pretty sure that Will regrets getting caught up in whatever moved him into getting out his seat, going on that Live Stage, & then smacking Chris Rock. Will's apology to Chris has been dissected by Mainstream Media, but few even mention Chris's apology to Will, where he admits overstepping his boundaries. For the most part, it looks like these 2 decades old friends are on the road to reconciliation.

Meanwhile, Comedians are having a literal Field Day w/ the incident. All of them zero in on Jada's misgivings, & they question Will's actions in an assortment of Case Scenarios- 'If So & So was on that Stage'... They're appalled @ Will's actions, & many fear that he has given The Public a green light to attack Comedians On Stage. I don't really see how, when U consider all of the Security present @ Comedy Shows. Many of them know Will personally, but they have No Problem w/ him getting jail time. Jim Carey went further, saying Chris should sue Will for $200M.

It's pretty surreal, watching so many acting more offended by that slap, than Chris Rock. The Cherry On Top, has to be Amy Schumer's claim of feeling 'Triggered & Terrified' by Will's actions... Huh?! How does Will responding to Jada's personal pain become an issue of how it affects White Women? Amy Schumer has played this dog whistle game in the past, & she's made more than one off color comment about Blackfolk in the past. I guess that makes the Chocolate Sauce on this 'Nutsy Cuckoo Sundae', all of those Blackfolk falling in line w/ Mainstream sentiment.

The Warrior Class do not condone Will's timing, but they cannot condemn his motivation. Love is abstract & unconditional. Despite having their personal business being made Public knowledge, they have weathered their storms & pressed on. People forget that Will & Jada have a bond that has also been made Public knowledge. They have admitted that their lifestyle is alternative, & have been pretty graceful about handling the stones & arrows that came their way over the years.

Mechee X makes a great point of pointing out that Chris Rock didn't have to take a swipe @ Jada on the Biggest Day of Will's career. He didn't have similar jokes for White women in the audience, why single her out? Then there's the Motion Picture Academy's ass covering move of putting out how Chris Rock went 'freestyle' @ that point in The Program, but no one thought anything of it. Denzel Washington told Will: 'At the moment you reach your highest peak, is when The Devil will come for you'.

It's interesting that this fiasco happened on a night of Black Excellence @ the Academy Awards. Will Packer produced the 1st Program w/ an All Black Production Team, featuring Co Hosts Wanda Sykes & Regina Hall. Will Smith was the odds on favorite to win Best Actor, Quest Love won an Oscar for his Documentary: 'Summer Of Soul', & Samuel Jackson won a Lifetime Achievement Award. Interesting how this freak incident happened on This Night. I also find it funny how Will is obliged to resign from The Academy of Motion Pictures for an incident that garnered them their largest audience in years.

And let's not forget poor Chris Rock, who is selling out Shows since that offensive slap. There may be a darker narrative to all of this. My question about The Whole Thing is: Why is Society getting so bent out of shape over a Black man acting 'Manly'? A lot of these Mainstream Comedians & Commentators are more concerned w/ Will's action, than they are w/ where it happened. To the Comedians shook up over hecklers coming for them, I say: learn how to knuckle up, so they know not to Test you.

I never been a fan of 'Insult Comics'. People don't pay good money to have themselves or their dates insulted in front of a Live Audience. Maybe Will's action will alert these Comedians that there's a Line that they shouldn't cross. We live in a Culture that is spoiled & unrestrained; maybe Will is just a harbinger of a Social Correction. In a larger sense, maybe Society is shook up by Will's (so called) aggressive behavior, because he was deemed 'non- threatening' or 'harmless'; what are the less than agreeable Types capable of?

Amy Schumer's dog whistle certainly plays into This narrative- and the ink on The Emmitt Till Anti Lynching Law is barely dry.

Watching W.H. Press Secretary Karine Jean- Pierre on 'This Week' & wondering: Does the woman EVER hold her chin up? It's like her head stays perpetually bowed w/ rounded shoulders. Compare her 2 Donna Brazile in the next segment, who has a much different body language. Like her or not, U can't deny that Donna displays the Posture & Self Confidence of a Strong Black Woman; Karine acts like she's simply 'happy 2 B there'.
