June Photo a Day Challenge: #8 A younger Me My parents and I took a trip to Iowa when I was five and we went to the zoo. Since my mom's friend's sister worked there we got to go to a couple areas people usually can't go for free. I remember going back there and getting to feed leaves to the giraffes.

Some photos I took for the April photo challenge, but wasn't able to post sooner. Of the 5 things I can cook, this is my favorite. Sausages with peppers and onions (slightly burnt, but I prefer it that way).

What I HOPE you would do would be let me be by your side/feet with you filling my head and heart with goals for being a good pup. Telling me how I can grow and become stronger, maybe even get bigger than you (yet always remain submissive) - and making me want to reach those goals, and do whatever I could to reach those goals for you. Hopefully you'd let me lay on the floor while you're on the couch and enjoy having your legs rest on my back or my chest. I would hope you'd take me out somewhere, and help me to open up and relax, even getting me to show a REAL smile and in turn make you smile more. I even hope you would draw me in for a hug, and give me a mark or two - showing me to enjoy a little bit of pain.

I tried asking what people would do if they owned me for 24-hours, but everyone ended up turning the prompt around.

So I ask instead: What would you do if I owned you for 24-hours?

I was checking my mail this morning, and I opened what I expected to be a letter about Congressman Bob Goodlatte's upcoming run for re-election. It actually turned out to be a reply to my postcard from noodlesandbeef's Selfies4reform app. I was pretty pleasantly surprised to get a reply, and plan on writing him again.

As it turns out, it actually would kill him to be a nice guy.
