some old doodles i did of if the flim flam brothers were part of the apple family. I'd think they'd be the ones who would be manning the stall in the town center or maybe even still occasionally doing travelling sales to promote the farm.

I stand by the fact that in their first appearance the super speedy cider squeezy wasn't actually a scam, it did work. so in this i think they wouldn't be as scammy as they ended up being by the end of the show. As they're good sales men and when they have a genuine product there no need for them to lie.

exaggerate? yeah ofc, they're still themselves. But i think the contrast between the more humble down to earth fam next to the theatrical, exaggerating twin unicorns is very funny.

wowo a big post of my ocs in a steven universe au, i started to rewatch the series while i worked and the brain rot for my own characters took over XDD

My pink boy is called Llamia or lamb and I've made him a spinel since hes and entertainer and pretty goofy. plus canon spinels story of abandonment and re-finding love and trust fit a liiitle too well with his pre existing backstory so its was a match made in heaven (or hell ig).

While my other boy is Strife, or in this scenario; Emerald. He was stranded on earth during the war, remaining poofed in his gem after getting fatally cracked. He was partially repaired in rose's garden but not all chips of him could be found. Rendering him unable to return back to homeworld lest he be put out of commission permanently. (i also love that in the show the emerald we do see kinda has a cat/lion theme to i fully embraced that with him)

Their fusion is bloodstone, styled after 80s hair metal as i felt it was the best fit of combining their personalities. loud and entertaining while confident and commanding

(ed is grey in one sketch and coloured in the other is that i'd imagine he is a magicless unicorn that later gains it back (unicorns have magic inhibitors or some other funky lore? idk ill think about it later) but him gaining his magic back causes him to develop a more 'unicorn esq' body (taller, thinner, long tail ect). i thought this was a cool way to give a more visual transformation from "ed" to "the riddler", with him both mentally and visually going from bland and unassuming to camp and extravagant. plus him getting his cutiemark.

oh and penguin is flightless due to him getting some of his flight feathers docked instead of him being shot in the leg)

You ever get so bored you just start redrawing whole Gotham scenes as if they were in mlp... yeah, me neither,, heh heh

(I tried my hardest to make Jim Gordon horse look as much as a basic Lego man as I could in horse form, if that makes any kind of sense??? idk that's just how I see jimmy; boring)
