In A levels and had a teacher say that out of the 50 odd hours we spend at school only two should be rest (not counting 15 min break and 45 min lunch) and another say that we should be doing about 5hrs study per subject (3 A levels so 15hrs) outside lessons I don't think this is working. I'm not going to do any of it however.
Wow, that's a lot. My schooling system doesn't typically run on that down here, but the hours alone from what you describe leaves little to your imagination, imagine how much more creativity could be flowing through the students, only to be cut in half by the schooling systems. We need new schooling systems.
