No literally!! Like I’m aware that whoever was in charge of this season didn’t give a shit but common! We were radio silent on anything regarding the second season for years. We get barely any promotional material in the few months before it aired and all the material we got was lazy, inconsistent, or just straight up ugly. Really is the salt in the wound at this point.
Okay chat, I’m redrawing this HORRENDOUS Gen:Lock season 2 promotional poster for a project next month. (By redrawing I mean starting over from scratch and doing it right this time because there are no redeeming qualities I’m so serious.) Please help me pick which format I should use because I like both and I can see them both working out. My sketches are abysmal so I’m sorry if it’s hard to read but I did color it so it’ll be easier.

Okay slay! Honestly was leaning towards the top one as well but might redraw the bottom as a fake book cover or something later down the line.

"i hope the first season of your favorite show does great and gets a ton of praise for doing something unique, but then a long time passes without any new content or information while the company behind it is falling apart (but trying not to show it) and the creator even got fired which makes the future of the show seem bleak, but then season 2 is confirmed and everyone is really hyped again even though they moved it to a new platform for some reason, and then it finally comes out and it's just absolute dogshit. like, unacceptably bad and feels nothing like the first season. it might as well be a different show. and then someone who worked on it reveals that all the messy changes they made were on purpose because the director was like "drama and bad reception is good, actually". then fast forward a couple of years and you're looking back on it all and you realize that this was just one small part of the catastrophic domino effect that led to the company's eventual downfall" terrifying, possible, it happened and i was there

So Rooster Teeth is officially one for the history books today. Honestly I’m mixed emotionally on how to feel about it. I grow up watching a lot of there shows and positive association is a powerful thing but at the same time, I also know they weren’t a good company. Sooner or later they had to go and it just sucks it had to be this way. Most people are gonna remember them through Achievement Hunter, RWBY, and Red vs Blue and rightfully so but I’m gonna remember it through Gen:Lock. Not because it was good or even to argue that it was there magnum opus. Honestly it’s one of the worst things they’ve created. But in spite of having all the problems the company has made as a whole it also inspired a young preteen back in 2019 to become a writer and an artist. So in the end, it counted for something. I originally wanted to make something for all of the characters but unfortunately I am just so very small and so we just have little Cammie as a goodbye.

hi i started this almost 2 weeks ago and it took me til now to finish but here’s they…i wanted to do a genlock version of the team chibis of rwby i did twice a while back
i wanted to add migas in here so bad but just these five gave me enough hell as it was ;;
New here and never made a post before but I thought it would be fun. These some characters for a comic book I’m making. Maybe I can post the process here :)))
