Akari is working hard with Ingo to help him remember things about his life Before; most days, it’s slow, but he can remember little unimportant bits and pieces. After all, Akari doesn’t know how to trigger episodes of remembrance if she doesn’t know what he still needs to remember.

But one day, she inadvertently knocks loose a very large, very important, and very emotional set of memories for Ingo. Though instead of making him happy, Ingo quickly becomes distressed and upset - he can now not only recall who Emmet is, but he now remembers enough to be certain his brother is worried out of his mind.

What will he do? How does he get back? Had as much time passed in Unova as it has in Hisui, with him being gone? Akari is unsure what to do when Ingo reacts such a way, upset to the point of unwilling tears, but she tries to comfort him as best she can. He has done so much for her and made her feel safe and a little less lost in Hisui; she wants to do the same for him. She hugs him tight, promising him she’ll find a way to get them both back home. He reciprocates her embrace through his tears.
